Terrible, don't do it. No communication, no one knows anything. They transfer you from person to person into the phone hangs up. The building is a year into the build and they still haven't made anything right. It is crooked, it leaks, it failed inspection twice. They will not send anyone out to ch the repairs. Also the installers do not communicate with the company and have no idea what is going on. Just don't do it.

We ordered a 30X40 Building from these people Aug ******, ****** told me our building would be to us in 3 weeks then it would take a additional 3 days for them to install the building , we put a down payment down, then we were told we needed to get the permit ourselves but the county I live in said the company needed to get it I was not allowed to, so I called ****** back told him what they said and I paid them 150$ to get the permit, we thought they had taken care of it but then in Sept I was told they were waiting on revised documents? Well I did not get a email about needing more documents, so the lady at county sent them to me then *** ** sent them, the girl in permitting lied and attached a photo of a email I never got it was not dated either or the to and from, We then went to the county ourselves and took care of everything needed and they said we are just waiting on payment for permit which I paid the company to do. Still today no building and ****** has not answered emails or called me back , I left message to refund the money I paid being the lack of communication and lies we have been told I no longer trust this company

This company does not respond to phone calls. I have been trying to get my building installed/completed since the spring. Its now late September and still waiting. Asked for a manager to return my call for about a month. Still crickets

I purchased my metal garage from this company(Steel Buildings and Structures)....going on the 3rd wk after my pad was down i received a call from them on a Monday scheduling my install for the coming Saturday for mid morning ...great !! My wait was over...the Saturday came and no one was there by lunch...I finally received a call from installer stating they were running late on a job b4 mine and they could come tomorrow morning(Sunday) at 7am...I really had no choice but agree..the next morning by 8am still no one there....I called every hr with no answer from installer or contact what so ever....I tried texting still nothing...I wasted my whole wk end, a lost day at work with still no garage...this is a horrible way to treat a customer and I will NEVER recommend this company !!! It took almost 2 years to get our building that we are making in to a barndo. The engineers they use are a joke. months and months and they never listened. The first storm that hit the building leaks, the sides of the building are not closed nor the eve all the way across, and windows. They invalidated our warranty because we started work on the inside. This company has the worst costumer service. now we wait to see if the dealer will fix our house. I could go on and on but im just summing up. We wasted 2 years and 100k trying to get a house and all we got was a nightmare start to finish.

Steel Buildings and Structures Inc. installed a metal building on my property in Georgia on 3/28/2022. shortly after the install, I noticed a leak around the back window and after contacting the co. someone came out and siliconed the window base. I was not living there at the time and did not notice that the leak was not repaired. upon moving to Georgia and being in the building during a rain, I noticed the leak was still there. Upon contacting the company about the same issue, I was told that I was past the warranty period and nothing could be done even though the leak was never repaired properly. when they couldn't explain why the repair was not done properly, They resorted to saying that because the building was insulated nothing could be done. I also had a difficult time getting customer no service to return my calls. During the purchase and install process, Calls were always returned promptly. Once the money was paid and there is a problem, good luck with getting a resolution. I guess the days of standing by your products and workmanship are a thing of the past. I would definitely look for another company that cares about their customers satisfaction, If that's possible. Definitely Not Recommended!!!!

Absolute horrible customer service! Started when I had to call after a week to get my plans to be able to obtain my building permit. I was told at the time of purchase I would receive plans in a couple of days. 7 days later I called after not receiving them and was finally given a set of generic plans. The Next day I received a voice mail after 5pm from a representative that wanted to confirm my order again after a week since I placed my order. I tried calling back twice during normal business hours and received a voice mailbox that was full and then the receptionist took my message but I received no call back. After not hearing from anyone for a month I called to check on the status. Found out they lost my order and then when I sent a email the same lady who told me they lost the order claimed they didn’t loose my order and made me out to be a liar. Never once have I received a phone call from anyone at this company to apologize or attempt to make things right. They were supposed to install the building today 5 weeks later after they called me a week ago to schedule it and they called me this morning at 7:45 and canceled because of a rain shower that was forecasted to be gone by 9 am. It has been cloudy since 10 am here and no reason why someone couldn’t be working. Still no call from anyone. No one will respond to my emails in a timely fashion if I get a response at all. So I’m stuck here with 10,000 of my money gone to this company at this point with nothing to show for it. I feel totally taken advantage of and not appreciated as a customer. I would not recommend this company to anyone! By reading the reviews on this company I can see I am not the only one that has experienced these issues. I have Many more issues that I can list if needed that I can’t list on this review because the character limit won’t allow it. Stay away from this company! Spend your money with a company that appreciates your business

Building leaked in less than 24 hours of install. 5 months later I still have no shows and no fix. Poor excuse for a company. To much to type to tell my story but if you value your dollar do not buy from Steel Buildings And Structures.

I JUST HAD A 30 FT X 50 FT FOUR ROLL UP DOOR GARAGE BUILT AND INSTALLED BY SBS. THE PROCESS FROM BEGINNING TO END WAS VERY PROFFESSIONAL. THEY ANSWERED ANY QUESTIONS I HAD WHEN DECIDING ON WHICH STRUCTURE I WANTED. THEY TOOK MY CALLS EVERY TIME I CALLED AND ALWAYS MADE ME FEEL LIKE I WAS THE MOST IMPORTANT CUSTOMER THEY HAD. THE BUILDING IS EVERYTHING I WANTED AND THE CREW THAT INSTALLED IT WERE VERY CORDIAL AND INSTALLED BUILDING IN A DAY AND HALF. THEY DID A GREAT JOB AND I AM WELL PLEASED WITH THEIR INSTALL. IF I EVERY NEED ANOTHER BUILDING, I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO USE STEEL BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES, INC. ***** **** 

In July 2022, we contracted with SB&S to build a 13x25x11 steel building to cover a travel trailer. We selected SB&S after meeting with three other steel building companies and we believe we chose the right company. SB&S’ staff was always professional, available (during business hours) to answer our questions, make notes about our project and listen. The products that SB&S used were excellent and we are overall pleased with the structure. We felt like the time we waited to have our building erected (9 business days) was very reasonable. We believe that the price we paid for project was fair. SB&S will want to continue monitoring and managing closely the installers they use (installers are contracted by SB&S). Overall, our installers did a good job and demonstrated an understanding of the project they needed to complete. The installers were respectful and cleaned up after themselves. A critical step was missed (mobile home anchors were not installed due to broken equipment) so we withheld entire payment to SB&S until the mobile home anchors were installed and the project was 100% complete to our satisfaction. (Note: mobile home anchors are required in order to meet NC state and county code. Mobile home anchors were required on our project due to the site preparation.) We worked with SB&S to reschedule a crew to return and put in the mobile home anchors (our wait was two weeks). Also, we discovered we needed additional angle braces on the center vertical walls. This was pointed out by a SB&S representative. The missing right angle braces were installed the day the mobile home anchors were put in. Installers need refresher training to ensure all steps are completed in the right order and that the project is 100% complete. They are a direct reflection on SB&S and have everything to do with the final outcome of the project. A word of caution: Make sure your building is 100% accurate before you pay and the installers leave.
