      I was interested in purchasing a new mattress and heard about Bed in a Box and how the company has been in business for years and are based in North Carolina. I called to get some information and was greeted by a very friendly and knowledgeable Customer Service rep who took the time to discuss my sleeping habits and helped me decide on the best mattress for me. I have been sleeping on the Azul for about 6 months now and and am 110 % satisfied! Thank you Bed in a Box for making such an amazing bed!!! Sincerely, Your biggest North Carolina Fan!!!!!

      Bedinabox... DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE! My family had been a long time customer of this brand for over 25 years and I have recommended their beds to my clients and students! No more! I recently purchased what would be our sixth or seventh bed for my eldery father who had major spine surgery. Not only did his bed never arrive, after OVER 10 EMAILS AND 3 CALLS, 20 days later they sent another bed. The box was busted open! To make matter worse, the company does not insure any mattress!!!! Which means most mattresses must make it there to warrant them not protecting themselves or their customers. However my father's mattress didn't make it there and fedex only offers them a $100 refund. The company literally only offered me a $100 off of an item we've waited over 20 days for, I've lost so much time emailing and calling to no avail and all sorts of excuses! I told them to retain us as a customer they would need to deeply discount the item. Then I get an email they are resending another mattress free of charge. My father and I were elated, nearly in tears after the **** I have gone thru with these people! Then the next day I get another email stating they've recharged the mattress and only deducted $100!? ??Not only did they leave an elderly man with spine surgery without a bed for nearly a month they charged him FULL PRICE and only deducted the $100 that they get back from fedex. THEY did this AFTER TELLING AN OLD MAN HIS BED WAS FREE and they would correct the situation! Cruel, horrible people! Not at all the company I bought from years ago! My family and I will NEVER buy or recommend this company EVER AGAIN! In the beginning they had a novel idea but now there are so many other companies doing this. BUY FROM ONE OF THEM! These people are horrible business owners and have no Customer service skills or a conscience. #bedinabox nope, not ever!

      We are sorry that you are unhappy with your experience. Unfortunately, because we were notified 15 days after you placed your order, that there was an issue with delivery; FedEx options became limited and would have loved the opportunity to assist at the first signs of delivery issues, perhaps when the tracking information and confirmations showed a delay. We did however immediately begin to work towards a solution for you and also offered the option to cancel the order with a full immediate refund or the option to send a replacement mattress; in which you chose for us to send it (yes the replacement mattress was at no charge as the first order was paid), I apologize there was confusion surrounding that, despite as you mentioned all the details being shared in emails; each one addressed and responded to. Yes, we did refund $100 as a goodwill gesture due to the issues surrounding the deliver from FedEx.

      Hello I just read bedina box's response and I am irate! Here is proof I sent the following email- time and date stamped on the 12th! That is 8 days from the date we were supposed to have delivery. I did not wait 14 days as their email states! How dishonest of them! I'd like to also mention this is an elderly, disabled man who was trusting that is package would arrive and the tracking info. Said the item was in KENTUCKY so he/we thought it was coming soon which is why we waited the 8 days which was a VERY LOGICAL approach. But after waiting a few more days and the shipping link stated the package was STILL in KY is when I stepped in to help my father manage this mess as something was a miss. So too much time DIDN'T pass. And even if it had- just because fed ex doesn't pay them out more doesn't mean they shouldn't take a financial loss to make things right for their customers for there ineptitude in ensuring an item that didn't make it to the customer gets there. Why do they put all the onus on the customer!? It's their job and duty to ship the item in a timely way and if it's not going to make it in a timely way to alert their customer!!! They did not do this in any way shape or form! BBB, surely you see through this gaslighting of a response to show their lack of unaccountability or customer satisfaction!after reading online reviews aim seeing SO MANY who had had the same troubles as us and the company didn't take responsibility or even address their customers in a way trying to pretend they care and are reputable. Who will put a stop to this!? How long will they be allowed to do business like this without warning the public!? I demand a refund of 50 % or more off our initial purchase price! That is more than reasonable for our time and troubles with this ridiculous, unethical company! Best, ***** and *****

      Unfortunately their beds do not last longer than a few years. They offered one warranty replacement but three years from owning the original bed the replacement had started sagging after only a year. A ten year warranty doesn’t mean much if by year three you have already had one replacement and they refuse to address the issue. We’ve switched to a different mattress company now.

I am sorry to hear you switched to another mattress company after we replaced your original mattress with an upgraded model - the Adagio since we have not been notified of any issues until this review. Based on your first order from 2014; that particular mattress was made from another supplier before we purchased the Company. We did honor the warranty regardless. Our notes indicate you called about sagging, and a warranty replacement was sent on 2/26/18 and we show no notes on the replacement order indicating that anyone ever contacted us about the Adagio. Our warranty remains the same today, our warranty is valid only for the original purchaser from the original purchase date of the original mattress purchased from BedInABox.       I purchased a mattress and frame from BedInABox twice. One was many years ago and the quality was great. It lasted for several years and we've referred many customers to BedInABox. However, their quality and customer service has significantly decreased. I purchased a California King mattress and the "Clever Connect Foundation Frame - California King" recently (within the last year). The bedframe seemed extremely cheap upon arrival but given their strong quality in the past, I decided to keep it. The frame completely broke within a year and can't be fixed. BedInABox said they only guarantee their product up to 100 days so they offered no refund, no discount, and no exchange option. This was extremely disappointing. They offer expensive products and if they believed in their quality, then they should guarantee their furniture for at least year. The life expectancy of most bedframes are 10-20 years. The product was complete garbage and after speaking with customer service, I believe their company morals are garbage as well. I will never purchase another product from them and I've already retracted a recommendation I recently made to some to buy from them. I will sharing this story on every social media webpage and review center that I can. A bedframe should not break without cause. The bedframe has never been taken apart or moved since we purchased it. There is no reason it should have broken.

Our records indicate you reached out on 8/12/22 to our customer service team with the issue of the broken parts on the foundation, and was offered a solution of replacement parts which were refused as you did not want to proceed with the warranty and only wanted a refund. I apologize we are unable to issue refunds after almost a year. Our Return Policy- Foundations can be return within the 120 trail w/restrictions 2. Warranty: All parts are warrantied for 5-years from the original date of purchase. We are happy to assist in resolving this issue for you; and getting the broken items replaced under the manufactures warranty.

      I'm so happy now that I made to a new BedInABox mattress. It's the best decision I've made in years. Now that I'm sleeping better and not waking up sweaty and sore throughout my body I'm just a happier man. Also, I feel much healthier as I have better and better sleep and as my sleep patterns improve. After the first night when I felt so comfortable I really knew that I should have done it years ago. I could not believe I slept well on the first night! Everything about the ordering and delivery process was easy. Now I'm in the land of good sleep and I looking at what's next. I can tell you one thing, I know where I'll get the rest of our mattresses BedInABox.
