************************* steals people's money with no intentions of completing the work, and when that company's name is too recognizable, he just starts up a new company! Currently he's running Ridge Runner Roofing. Same game as before with Appalachian Exterior. Writes up an estimate cost below the other companies and then asking for a check for materials, and then begins with the excuses as to why the materials are taking so long, and ends with ************************* ghosting you. ************************* also lists false addresses as the place of business. You know he's a bad business manager when the employees at the Courthouse and **************** recognize his name as well as the City Inspector.Let's just say that the apple didn't fall far from the tree, since his father *********************** has many small claims against him as well.If you have found this site and all these complaints against ************************* and Ridge Runner Roofing or any company held under his wife's name, *****, just know that the court doesn't stop this man from starting another company, warn people that he's still doing shady business, or force him to pay retribution when he is found guilty.

0 stars. I had similar experiences as below. Took half. Made excuses for over a year. I finally got my "down payment" back by contacting the police. He keeps changing his business name. Incorporated under other's names. Even does jobs out of state where he also screws people over.

In August of 2021 we got a quote for $20000 for a siding and window job. We accepted the quote and they requested a 50% deposit to "order materials" We paid them the $10,000 and were told the job would start in the next 6 weeks. 6 weeks went by and JT calls to tell me he needs an additional $2700 to "pay his painters to paint my siding at the shop". Skeptical- I said okay and he picked up the check immediately. After that he was extremely difficult to get a hold of. 4 months later- JT calls to tell me windows are backordered 8 weeks. I asked for a refund at this point- he says no problem- we'll send a check in the mail when we return the materials. But he never ordered windows in the first place with my deposit. So now he's stolen $12,700 from me and has blocked my phone number. He did call me back a few times in the past month to assure me the check is on the way- its been 4 weeks and no check. Looking at other reviews here- I'm not the first person he's just stolen money from with no intentions to do the job.
