Ordered a building paid cash. No reciept. They said once installer gave them money they would send me receipt for my purchase. Ive texted several times with proof of text saying they would send me a receipt.6 months no receipt.Business response

My husband and I spend $13,000 on a metal building from this company. It has leaked gallon of water every time it rains from the very first day. We requested a repair. They came out without the proper supplies and attempted to patch the issue. It continues to leak all over every time it rains and has resulted in all of the insulation being ruined. We have asked the company over 20 times over the course of the last 3 months to fix this and they keep promising somebody is coming but no one ever shows. We spent $13,000 on a mental building we cannot use not to mention all the money we have put in it on the inside that is now ruined.Business response

A crew has reached ***************** location to replace or repair the the elements that were faulty. Pictures have been sent to ***************** and communication was successful to let her know that the unit has been repaired and visuals have been sent. She has replied that with the visuals sent she cannot confirm if the unit has been repaired properly therefore more than likely time will have to tell once rain comes by her location again. We strive to keep our quality to the highest level possible with integrity and honesty and we expect it from every partner working with Longhorn Steel Structures as well therefore the crew that installed the unit was approached for repairing. We hope at Longhorn Steel that Mr. and ***************** remain blessed and thank you for helping Longhorn Steel become better by letting us know our workmanship with that crew needed attention.Initial Complaint

My husband and I purchased a 36x44 building for our lake property. The building was erected last week with completion on Friday November 10. The workmanship is severely flawed, our building was not even properly placed on the foundation that was provided based on the company’s engineering plans. There are metal jagged edges protruding that are a liability and hazard - the area is not safe for my grandchildren or pets. We paid for upgrades that seem to have only made our situation worse - vertical siding that was not properly aligned- two tone bottom and top that are haphazardly pieced together and the upgrade of water proofing that is impossible because the ground is showing on all sides . The building is large , there are holes everywhere, we really need help getting this major crisis handled. This is hardship for our family - the space was to provide storage - we have sold our home and needed storage - that is why we made the purchase.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:
We have not received the material needed to patch a defective building. I hate that we ever ruined our lot and allowed this company to make the mess they have , and still we wait for them to do right.This has been a nightmare and I hope people stop purchasing these problem buildings!

I purchased a certified building and it failed building code. Contacted company on a second time on Sept 9th. The company has made multiple appointments to come out and fix the issue and have always canceled. Here it is 9 weeks in and no resolution. They did send some extra brackets but would need a lot more and with what compensation. I purchased a certified building and received garbageBusiness response

*Mr.s *********'s order was placed on May 17.
*On may 19 it was notified that she needed to pour concrete.
*On May 25 concrete was poured and was put on delivery schedule immediately
*June 2 the building was installed.
*June 15 the first crew went to install the anchor to the building
*On September 9th a failed inspection was received however we had nothing in the area that could facilitate a visit to ***** for repair.
*On October 19 first attempt to repair the unit was made but the crew had mishaps and had to return with the product.
*November 2nd was a second attempt to repair the unit but it was rescheduled due to weather conditions. Mrs. ********* advised that if the crew could not make it to send the things needed to repair via mail.
*November 3rd, it was sent to her address overnight as she requested.
*November 8 Longhorn heard back from ***** stating that only 5 brackets and 5 bolts were sent according to the visulas she sent us for review.
*On november 9th Longhorn Steel sent the remaining (lost) brackets and screws that ended up missing along with a $100 compensation to pay someone to get the job done.
Problem was resolved when she received both packages.
It is always in the interest of Longhorn to have satisfied customers and quality buildings.
We understand that things can't always happen as we wish. However, we strive to make things right whenever Things go wrong. We are extremely sorry this situation caused stress on a business partner as ***** for without them we cannot continue to serve our country and fellow citizens.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
First, no brackets were lost. The building inspector was not satisfied with the way the building was secured, and required the brackets and bolts described in their plans. I was never asked how many brackets or bolts were needed and I was desperate to get the project completed. Since we were going on 6 months since it was installed and they could not be bothered with sending and installer into my area without another installation. Even though I was required to pay them on the first day of installation, me waiting 6 months for the project to be completed , that's ok. And when we did finally get them to send the bolts and brackets needed to complete the job, they were short. We informed them and they never responded.
