I have dealt with Caravan Rugs. The owner is very difficult to deal with. I have three rugs that need cleaning , but will absolutely not take them to Caravan Rug Cleaning. He clean three very nice rugs of mine, all three with pads that were very nice and high quality. They delivered the cleaned rugs and the padding was not delivered. He has cut three new pads ,for a significant amount of money.He had thrown the pads away. They were custom and certainly not from Homegoods *********** He was very indignant about it. All part of an insurance claim, and an easy way to take advantage. Crooked! Do not recommend this company.

We did not deal with this customer, as we went through their restoration company. This is the first we have heard of any issues and the restoration company had us do these rugs in 2020.

I found the customer service to be lacking. The was owner difficult to deal with.
By way of background, we had damage to our first floor and storage area. The insurance company and restoration company took care of damages which included everything being removed, cleaned and the floor replaced. It is our understanding they hired Caravan Rugs Cleaning to clean a Karastan rug.
The restoration company returned what we thought were all our possessions and put everything in our storage area.
We did not realize they did not return our rug.
In October of 2021, we got a call from Caravan saying they had our rug and wanted over $400 dollars in storage fees.
We never got an invoice or notification they had the rug.
They sent us an invoice for cleaning marked paid, we never received that invoice or paid it. NEVER did they call to deliver, or send an invoice for storage for 3 years. How were we to know they still had our rug?
We went to Small Claims Court and the judge ruled that the rug be returned. Mr. ***, the owner still refused to return the rug. We went to court again and finally, our rug was returned.
Never was any communication indicating there were storage charges. I found this to be misleading and deceptive. In my opinion, I would not recommend using this company

Mr. and Mrs. ******* never contracted anyone other than us to wash their Karastan rug. After the rug was washed and paid for in full for the cleaning service, their rug was left with us for 3 years in storage. They refused to pay our fee for storage and have been the most difficult and disrespectful customers simply because they fail to understand that a customer is responsible to pay for any service that has been provided to them. In the end, we returned their rug and they still to this day have refused to pay us for their storage fee.

Caravan Rugs is wrong. We NEVER contracted with them. I have told them many times it was through our insurance company and their restoration provider.
We have asked many times to give us information on the invoice that was paid for cleaning.
They cannot or will not provide a date paid, a form of payment, check number, or credit card number. We have no record of ever paying them. Caravan Rugs has never notified us after payment, in any form of communication, for delivery of rug, or that fees were being charged for storage. In my opinion that is poor customer service.
