I went to **** for a concert and decided to book a room at to avoid Driving home late. Worst idea ever . I arrived an hour early on Tuesday, June 4th, 2024, and was greeted by a lovely woman named ******. She was personable and helpful, telling me to wait a few minutes while she found a king suite for me. She managed to locate one that was supposedly available.Things took a turn for the worse when I got my room key and drove to the suite building. After grabbing my bag, I went upstairs alone to check out the room while my family gathered their items downstairs. To my shock, I opened the door to find a man's belongings scattered around the room(pics below). This was completely unacceptable and dangerouswhat if he had been there? My family and I had to lug all our stuff back downstairs.Highly upset, I returned to the front office, feeling like they had gambled with my safety. They questioned the rude Hispanic cleaning supervisor about why the room was marked as clean, and she had plenty of excuses. The king suite I had booked was sold out, and they tried to put me in a double-bed room, which I declined. Eventually, I had to settle for a double queen suite, and then wait 30 minutes while two women rushed to clean it.Despite check-in being at 3 PM, my room wasn't ready. I was offered a refund and points for a free night, but I never received the points despite calling three days in a row. The supervisor kept promising to add them to my account but failed to do so. Additionally, the cleaning staff was rude, and their supervisor even yelled at me. They saw us waiting and still locked the door while cleaning. Overall, this was the worst experience Ive ever had at a hotel. I still want my points . The supervisor seems to be too overwhelmed to manage the facility . There should be no way a room gets double booked with all the technology there is in 2024. Supervisor too busy telling me about the stuff she sells, sell me the **** room I booked .

On May 2, 2024, My fiance our daughter, and myself checked into the Best Western I-69 hotel. We paid $128 for the first night and $171 on the second night which was Friday, May 3, 2024. At around 1 am on Saturday morning, my husband woke to something crawling on him. We turned on the lights and captured the bug and put it into a ziplock bag. After researching, it was determined to be a bed bug. We took it to the front desk and he said the only thing he could do was move us to a new room. We asked for our money back and he stated he was not able to do that, we would need to speak to the manager. We were not offered any other compensation. We did not want to take a chance and spread the disease further, so we washed and bagged everything to try to reduce the possibility of taking them home. Spending $50 on laundry/soap that we were not planning to do. We have tried to contact the property, the general manager and manager, along with the corporate office. With little to no concern, much less a resolution. The property and staff have treated this matter with little sympathy or concern. We have waited days for even a return call. We would like our money back if nothing else. However, the lack of health and safety concerns for the general public should be addressed to this company. Paying over $300 for a 2-night stay is overpriced especially when you are awoken by a blood-sucking parasite that you now have to worry about, spending more money taking necessary precautions to ensure you didn't bring them home. On Saturday before my daughter boarded her plane back to ** she went to the ** because she had a bug in her ear. Again, Best Western has made little to no attempt to resolve this. I hope they were concerned enough to have that property exterminated. The bed bug was in its adult stage, I believe there is more considering its size. The public should be warned and we should be reimbursed for our inconvenience and health concerns.
