When I signed up in January of this year, it was explained that I had to commit to 3 months. I did so. During those 3 months I discovered that Clu Pilates was consistently overbooked. I found myself on waiting lists more oftthan not. And then notified that there was an opening only with an hour notice. Finding this extremely frustrating I informed them that I was not going to continue past my 3 months. I was then informed that I would have to notify them in writing a month in advance advance. There was no mention of this when I signed up. This would mean paying for another month with them that I didn't want. Before they were able to charge my credit card we had to cancel that card because it was hacked. So they have not been able to change me. Now they are telling me there is a $20. late charge.Initial Complaint

- On January 3rd 2024 I requested my account with the ******************** studio be frozen -On January 23rd 2024 I confirmed I still needed the account frozen and that ideally I would need to cancel the account. - I called the business and let the business know I was actively searching for a property (moving) and could not provide proof of move yet, but that I also was pregnant and could not attend classes due to this condition. -The business did not honor my request and continued to charge me for a membership/class usage and I did not attend any classes. - I have called the business multiple times to try and have them refund, as well as pointed out the email chain/phone calls/ and had my OB GYN provide a medical note. The manager(s) were extremely rude and told me my email was not clear enough to continue with the freeze on the account. - I have also filed a claim with my bank over this.
