In 2014 we installed a solar array of 16 panels on our roof using Sigora Solar. Our experience with the install was excellent. In 2016 we encountered an issue where one panel was not generating power. The issue turned out to be with the micro-inverter. This was replaced under warranty, again service was excellent. In September this year, 2022, 2 panels stopped producing energy and the system reported it was an issue with the micro inverter again. A warranty part was requested and received on 10/10. Service was scheduled for 10/31, but was delayed until 11/8 because of bad weather. One inverter was replaced but the technician said he was worried about the other one as the panel retaining clips appeared to have been over tightened. He wasn't sure it would be a problem, but wanted to have the clips available if they broke. On 11/15 I reached out to inquire what was happening. I had no reply, so a week later I called. On 11/28 I was told that the clips were not under warranty, and a charge of $485 would be incurred to replace them. I responded that the technician said he thought they had been overtightened and only Sigora Solar personnel had worked on the unit. I asked for an itemized quote, as the previous technician had said the work should take 15 minutes. This same technician told me all the other clips seemed fine. Sigora Solar's response has been 'there is no way to prove the clips have been overtightened', and these clips need to be replaced when the micro inverter is changed, even though there technician replaced the other with no problem and told me all other clips seemed fine except for this one. The last communication on 12/7 was that Sigora Solar had undergone a management change and the new manager was working through issues and that no 'itemized' quote can be issued except by a manager. I find it unacceptable business practice to not furnish a written itemized quote and this is an issue that has been ongoing for 3 monthsInitial Complaint

My wife and I decided we wanted to install a solar system with battery backup. We contacted Sigora in June, and first met with the sales consultant on June 21st, 2021 where we signed paperwork to purchase. After this date, we didn't from Sigora customer support until October when the the photovoltaic system was installed. The inspection on the PV install wasn't completed until December 2nd, 2021. We also ordered a power wall, which was supposed to be installed on December 8th, but got pushed to December 9th by the Town because Sigora owed money to the Town. We finally received permission to operate on January 10th, 2022. The system was not operational once we had PTO. In order to get the system operational, I had to email ***** ****** (CEO Sigora) who in turn contacted ****** ******* (residential projects manager at Sigora). It turns out they never actually activated on their end before sending me the email saying my system was operational. To make matters worse when the system was finally operational it would not charge the****** power wall from the PV system or the grid. We have a major winter storm coming, and have no battery backup. We purchased the backup for severe weather events, and to run the house at night when the sun is down. I called Sigora support and they advised me to call******. Sigora support contacted Enphase who said they were receiving improper voltage from the grid. I called the town and the grid frequency shouldn't have been affected as it was within tolerances. I called****** support, and they didn't see the voltage issue. They were great and helped me troubleshoot the system, still no luck.****** put in a request to have their team look into it remotely, which might take weeks bc of a backup in caseload. Sigora agreed to reimburse payments we made so far. Not really adequate. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE
