Little Squirrel people came and cut tree branches so squirrels cannot get into the attic, however, heard squirrels scratching climbing up to attic after their service was rendered, so I CALLED THEM and explained the problem. *************************** is the woman who is answering phone calls, emails, and texts, she said I have to hire handyman to take care of the problem because Little Squirrel technicians are extremely busy, they cannot come and solve the problem. I am 85 years old and suffering neurological problems and mobility issues. I asked whether they would pay for ********'s expense, did not get answer. After couple of conversation, she asked that I take photos of problem areas, I told her I have mobility issues, cannot go out and take photos. Did not receive any answers so far.Business response

We believe ******************* has had a misunderstanding with regard to our services and what we were originally contracted to take care of at her home. She contacted us through a third party company, AngiList /Homeadvisor, for tree work. We sent our estimator to her home to evaluate the trees and we provided an estimate on trimming several trees away from the house and removal of one smaller tree. After receiving the estimate, ******************* gave us verbal approval to schedule the tree work as stated on the estimate. We completed the scope of the tree work that we were contracted for and ******************* mailed a check for our tree services and paid the invoice in full. She sent a message expressing her thanks and appreciation of our services.
During a separate conversation with *******************, she shared a concern about rodent/pest damage around her attic. She asked if our company handled these types of repairs. Although this is not within our normal scope of work, we told ******************* that we were capable of handling such repairs and would look at the damage while we were there doing the tree work.
While our tree crew was onsite taking care of the tree work, our Crew Leader took a video of what he thought to be rodent/pest damage to the fascia boards that ******************* was concerned about. We never provided ******************* with an estimate for the rodent/pest damage repairs. We were never contracted to do the repair work and we never entered into an agreement with the client for the repairs of the rodent/pest damage. We communicated to ******************* that unfortunately, due to scheduling setbacks and understaffing, we were not able to provide her with an estimate or provide the service to repair the rodent/pest damage. Since this is not within our normal scope of work, we recommended that she contact a handyman or even her pest control company for assistance with this issue. We offered to refer her to someone who specifically handles this type of repairs. ******************* then asked if we were going to pay for the handymans services.After the tree work was completed, ******************* indicated that she heard scratching on the house. We offered to return to check if any other limbs needed to be trimmed back further away from the house.
In summary, we completed the tree work we were contracted for. We did not enter into an agreement nor were we hired to repair rodent/pest damages.

I am rejecting this response because:Little Squirrels people should finish cutting more trees and branches as they promised so that squirrels cannot climb up to attics.
