In January Universal Remodeling begun what was supposed to be a week to 2 week long bathroom remodel. After about 3 week and mutiple messages and phone call concerning to work being done our concerns were not taken seriously and we were blew off. Every time any form of contact was made we were told "Oh it's just cosmetic, it will be fixed". Our bathroom was left a mess inculding mutiple broken tiles, ground wired cut off electrical line, and a brand new vanity cracked. This is by far the worst work i have ever seen.Business response

We communicated constantly with the customer, letting her know we were going to resolve her issues. One day I sent my lead there to meet with the husband and were blindsided by another family member belittling our work. At that time, we stepped away from the job and called our operations manager to go discuss the problems with the customer. When he arrived ( no more than 10 minutes from the time we left, no one was there). It was agreed that we would all meet the home the following Monday and discuss options to make the customer happy. ( lead, helper, myself and operations manager). When we arrived on Monday, the customer, Ms. ***** was not there, but her husband and his father were there. After being berated by the father, we felt it in everyone’s best interest to step away from this job and offered to send a totally different crew to redo the work at no additional cost to the customer. I sent two follow up emails and had no response. On 3/9/22 we received a document from an attorney stating they were expecting payment within a week. At that time, we contacted our insurance company to see if this claim could be taken care of through our general liability insurance. We are working with **** insurance on this and have sent them all necessary information. Feel free to contact ******* ***** if you need confirmation. Our claim number is ************.

The employee that was in my house speaking to my father in-law was very disrespectful towards all of us to the point I didn't feel safe with him being there. This company doesn't operate under a professional manner.
