An appointment was made a couple a months ago for my six year old daughter ********************* with this Great Smiles Dentistry. Upon making the appointment my wife was told they the provider accepted our ********** Blue Shield FEP ********************** Upon arrivng for the appointment my wife indicated that she did not have her insurance card with her. My daughter went through the checkup and upon leaving my wife ******* was told then that the provider didn't take the insurance and the bill for the service was 308$. We were told from the very beginning that they accepted it. When did they decide not to accept it? Was it while my daughter was having her exam? If we had known this we would have gone to a provider that accepted it. My wife was very upset and later when she called the business to complain the secretary said they would speak to their staff and do some training on how to handle this issue better. SInce we were told plainly that they accepted this insurance plan we should have only paid the amount of our insurance co-pays for the x rays and exam. The rest of the money should be refunded,Business response
