This complaint is about a business who I did not contract with, nor need their services, but am having to deal with the lack of consideration on their part for potential damage to my yard. The area I live in was affected by Hurricane ******. I left my home on Friday, September 27, 2024 to go out of town. I returned on Sunday, October 13, 2024 to a huge wall of tree trunks and debris in my front yard. Mind you, I left my home/yard completely in tact without any debris. Also, I do not own or have any trees on my property. While gone, one of my neighbors contracted with this company to have every tree in her backyard removed and this company placed and left all the debris in my front yard instead of hers. I have gone back and forth with this company to ask them to remove it. Initially they explained why it had to be placed in my yard instead of hers and that they would try to come back and move it, but my city was contracting with **** to have the debris removed. I explained this should not be my problem and when could I expect them to come remove the debris that should have never been left there to begin with? I was told that I was not a priority and they were actively working through invoices to remove trees from homes. I made a review on their business ******** page, that I am now blocked from on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 that I was very disappointed with how this situation was being handled considering I never contacted nor needed their services. I posted pictures of the mountain of trees in my yard. And also the completely clear yard of my neighbor. The business replied and said they would be to my house the next day, Wednesday, October, 16, 2024 to remove it. I received a text from the business later Wednesday evening that they ran into some issues and would come the next day. They did not come. I had to reach out and was given an excuse as to why they couldnt move it and again that my city was working on having it removed.

I would like to start by saying this is the first email we recieved regarding this complaint other wise we would have responded sooner. We have a disaster relief company and we did work assisting homeowners after hurricane ******. Mrs ******* did in fact not use our services. Her neighbor did. There was a fallen tree that was over two properties. In order to abide by **** and have enough room to opperate, we could not put the debris on the yards we were actively working in or our equipment could not move. As we could not put it in the road way and obstruct traffic, it was placed by the road on her side of the street. We were careful to only put the tree debris in the area from past the meter to the road as that is considered city property for all accounts and purposes. When Mrs ******* called to complain we tried to explain what happened and explain the priorty schedule we keep due to danger from fallen trees. We did try to address her concerns and we told her that we would send someone out as soon as we could. We came out a day later than anticipated as a removal of a tree on a home took longer than expected. Our owner came to the property and walked it out to ensure it was infact in the city portion. She was not home but a neighbor came out and also reiterated that where the debris was, was in fact city. There was no simple way to move it without actually damagining her yard so we advised that we could not do that. We appologized again and explained that like all her neighbors and the entire city, there would be debris hauling trucks coming to collect this. We do not run a dump truck so would have had no way to haul it off either way ourselves. Unfortunately, in a disaster situation, its not always possible for things to be perfect. While we are sorry this is an issue, we simply will not be able to reslove it the way she is requesting.
