This happened on December 30 2022.I paid $470.00 to Benjamin Franklin plumbing to install a new sink and when they installed it they broke my counter top which he didnt tell me they wanted to place a piece of wood to cover the damage and refused to repair the damage now water is getting under the cracks which is making all my counter destroyed.please help me resolve this issue I shouldnt have to pay to redo my countertops because they were professional.Initial Complaint

Requested water heater installation through **** ***** of Shallotte NC, the store contracted the service through On Time Plumbing aka Benjamin Franklin Plumbing on 7/15/22. We were provided an estimate of $1921.00 for parts and labor and told we must sign the paperwork prior services and an itemized receipt would be provided to us. Installation took about an hour, no issues, no incidents that would cause cost increases. We were refunded $40 for an additional piece that could not be installed. When reviewing the service order, no itemized receipt is attached, only a receipt for total charge to my credit card. On Monday July 19th I contacted both On Time Plumbing and **** ****** Each said the other company was responsible for providing the itemized receipt. OTP insisted they could not make changes to the receipt to provide evidence of services of materials. I received a call back from *****, the OTP rep that provided the estimate insisting that the company does not provide customers with itemized information or written warranty info as proof of purchase and if something went wrong, we were have to call OTP only and be responsible for the cost of repairs minus $150. This is unacceptable practice, taking advantage of customer, not providing proof of purchase or explanation of fees and charges. After researching and speaking with **** ***** services we are being informed of possible overcharging of motor than $800.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 19, 2022/12/16) */ We received this complaint on December 13, 2022. It was filed on July 19,2022 as it was originally filed to the wrong company. This matter has been resolved by **** ****** On Time Plumbing and Air Corp has assisted **** ***** answering questions the customer had regarding the **** ***** Water Heater Installation Services. Consumer Response /* (3000, 21, 2022/12/21) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The matter has not been resolved. **** ***** nor On Time never provided the information as requested or responded to my request for assistance in this matter. The response is definitely false. Business Response /* (4000, 23, 2022/12/23) */ Please contact **** ***** for any additional paperwork needed. We have provided everything that we have access to from **** *****. If **** ***** is stating that you were overcharged we recommend reaching out to them. All contracts and payments were made to **** ****** We have tried calling the customer several times to get a better understanding what refund is being discussed so we can assist however customer will not answer our calls.
