This all came to light in October of 2023. Last May 2022 I purchased an *************** ******************** water heater. The heater went out on Christmas Day 2022, last week (October 2023), and again today (October 2023). I've had 3 different plumbers come look at the system and one told me it's a 2017. That didn't seem accurate given I purchased it in May 2022. I then called *************** and sure enough it was a 2017 system. So I then call Longley and complain about them selling me a unit from ************************************ 2022. I requested a credit so I can just buy another unit, because after all this one has broken 3 times, no one can seem to figure out how to fix it, AND ITS 5 years older than I was under the impression when purchasing. Longley refuses to give me a store credit and sees absolutely nothing wrong with selling someone a 2017 water heater in 2022 without disclosing this information to the buyer. I'll also note the heater was not stored in a climate control facility as well. I will never be purchasing anything from them again and hope people think twice when purchasing items from this company.
