      Just to let everyone know this company only works on their own hot tubs! We purchased a hot tub at the State Fair a few years back and this winter it started leaking! Called Deterdings in Grand Island and they came out and looked at it and said they would get back to us! A week went by and no answer, so called them back! Said they would have the tech call. Still no call! So called back and they told me they didn’t want to repair it since it wasn’t their brand! Even suggested we buy one from them. Told them what I was to do with mine and they said they would haul it away! So we’re supposed to junk our $8,000 hot tub and get a new one? Are you kidding me! Just beware!!

      Poor excuse of customer service.do not do a good job of serviceing equipment they sell.spent over 2 months trying to get fireplace running. Order parts and then a week after they come in they may install them, still didn't solve problem. Took stove apart wrong and broke bracket and charged 3 plus hours to repair, b cause over 9 years old. Would never recommend this company for anything.

      We purchased a hot springs spa for approximately $17,000 in 2015. From the first week we received it we had issues with black residue around the tub and were told that is was because CA had a water restriction and didn't wash it properly. Which was not told to us prior to buying the tub we then had to empty the tub ourselves, clean it and fill it again. We had to do this twice. About 2 months later we had water issues with scum around the tub, called again and was told it still wasn't washed properly and set a guy to come and finally look at it, which he proceeded to say that wasn't the issue at all it was due to using hard water when we needed to use soft water which again was never mentioned. The tub started to leak, could not find the problem so they hauled it back to the shop to look closer, was told they couldn't find anything, continued to leak and in total hauled it back 4 times to the shop, were told it was fixed which it wasn't as it continued to leak. To this day it is not fixed and said warranty has run out and will not help us anymore. During this whole situation we had a heck of a time getting our calls returned even from the business owner Doug *********. We would not recommend this company or the hot tubs as he/they do not stand by them.

      Dawn, your **************** Model Spa you purchased that Deterdings delivered on August 24, 2015, has a five year no- leak warranty on the plumbing with a seven year warranty on the shell surface. The first leak was reported in our records on 8/31/2020, (and which was technically beyond the five year factory plumbing warranty on the spa). This leak was finally determined to be a small crack in the acrylic surface which was repaired under factory warranty for the acrylic (under the seven year warranty) at absolutely no charge of any kind to you. The acrylic crack is the only leak that was found and the spa was returned to service. In November 2020 you reported leaking, again beyond the five year factory warranty on plumbing leaks. Deterdings picked up the spa and even though it was plumbing leaks this time, we repaired it for you, again at no charge to you, but not under factory warranty. We did it as a good faith measure under our own Deterdings in house warranty at approximately $1800 expense to us. You report small leakage again, now nearly 1 ½ years beyond the factory plumbing warranty. We are more than willing to repair your spa but this time not for free. We are also willing to reach out to the manufacturer, but do not have good expectations that they will authorize warranty on leaks that are 1 ½ years beyond their warranty. We take each customer issue seriously. We have gone above or beyond the warranty timeframe to take care of your issue.

      What this boils down to is that this hot tub has been defective from the moment it was delivered. What wasn't said was the many calls and text messages regarding all the issues that went on between us during the time we have had this hot tub. This tub has not been abused in anyway as it was just my husband and I using it. We really wanted to like this product and was hoping for a better outcome. Our calls went unanswered for several weeks making it hard to get anything done. As of today Doug ********* has not returned my husbands phone call, regarding talking to the manufacturer, it's been 2 weeks or so ago, with 2 phone calls into him. The "good faith" as you say you did for us wasn't even close to what needed to be done. You need to stand behind your product and when a customer reaches out as many times as we did you need to not ignore the problem but fix it.
