My overall experience with Husker Auto Group was terrible. We drove three hours to get a 2010 Lincoln MKS from them, which was not as advertised. The salesman was pleasant to work with, but every other point of contact was disappointing. Even though my husband and I both have good credit it took many many pulls on our credit before we were approved. We made it clear we were co-signing for our son and he didn't end up on the loan, the name was spelt incorrectly and they tried charging us $1000 more than the agreement. Before even leaving town we called the dealership because the navigation didn't work, causing nothing on the dash to work, they told us it did work, however it really didn't, we paid $1178 to have it fixed. The titling dept had no idea what they were doing as a matter of fact she called us again the other day about the registration and we have had the car since the end of March. When we were preparing for the car to be registered we could not do so because it would not pass inspection. In order for it to pass we had to put another $1200 in it. Last week we had to get new tires even though I asked about the tread and was told it was good before even making the drive to Nebraska. We have had the car four months and have put approximately $3000 more into it. After many many phones calls, emails and messages we received one email back offering us $400. The finance company they used for us is also a nightmare to work with, the back window shade was broken and zip tied down, I assume they thought we wouldn't notice and the car was not clean including tons of trash and papers from the previous owner. I am sure I am forgetting a few details. The dealership website states "we are committed to providing our clients with the utmost in customer care and satisfaction". I purchased an automotive part from the Mercedes Benz department. Jan 25, 2024, for $143.74. Up on receiving the part, I determined that i didn't need the part because I was able to find it cheaper at Wal-Mart Auto section. I tried numerous times to contact the dealership for return instructions, after 3 weeks of emails, voice mail and text messages all have been unanswered, I was able to reach someone for return instructions on Feb 14, 2024. I returned the item on Feb 14, 2024, via UPS insured. UPS has said delivered. I have tried to determine if my refund has been forwarded. Each phone call, email or text message has again gone unanswered by this organization. Because of the insolent delay of this organization, I requested that all restocking fees be waived as a good faith business effort for my time and patient efforts to do business with this company. At the time of this review, I have not been contacted by this organization about the return of me $143.74.Husker Auto Group Response

Dishonorable dealership. Ordered Mercedes parts on line and after taking my money they cancelled my order accusing me of trying to defraud them. I tried to contact the person who cancelled the order with a phone call and an email and received no reply. After wasting my time placing this lengthy order and providing valid credit card information and verified address information, this outfit decided to treat a potential customer with disrespect. I think the common courtesy of a phone call or email with an explanation and apology should be in order but this company has no clue what customer service and decency is. Now I have to wait 5 business days to get my money back and place the order with a different company.Review from Travis W

I purchased a low mileage, 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan with the black top package in September 2023. Overall, my experience was not good. Sales team wasn't negotiable on price. My experience with the finance team was not good, even though my credit is really good. Husker Auto Group stuck me with GM Financial with sand provided no other options. I asked for a 48 month term, and was they could only do a 60 month term because the loan to value ratio was too high....if this were actually the case then they would want a shorter loan term. The interest rate was also extremely high. They tried tried to do the typical "push a car warranty and gap insurance" down your throat, which I declined. The dealership was frustrated with me declining this and told me these were products "You will actually use". The experience left me feeling like they must get a cut of the interest rate from GM Financial. Picking the vehicle up took a couple of days so that the service team could do their safety inspection. I received the car, and within the first couple of days noticed that the rear blower motor didn't work. I determined the rear blower motor relay was bad, and had to pay to fix this. Also, had to pay $60 to reprogram a second key. After purchasing, I notice some imperfections in the paint on the driver's side fender and the driver's side of the hood. Overall, to fix the over spray and the paint sag cost me about $1,500, as the body shop had to repaint the entire driver's side of the vehicle. Body shop said that the car had been wrecked and repaired poorly. Myy sales person called me after I discovered all of this and asked how I was enjoying the "new to me" van. I am devastated after purchasing two vehicles totaling over 50,000 dollars from Mercedes Benz of Lincoln. The second vehicle I purchased required repair of temperature control prior to receiving, however, the vehicle persists with temperature control issues. When contacting the salesperson for guidance to rectify the matter. I was informed, "Unfortunately these things happen" without clear direction or care to resolve the problem. I have possessed the second vehicle less than one week. I contacted the facility to seek vehicle service, I had to leave a message. I did not receive a phone call back to schedule service. Therefore, I was compelled to call the following day to schedule services. However, prior to purchasing the vehicle I received multiple phone calls regarding my interest in the vehicle. My interaction with the reception to schedule services revealed a discourteous tone, "We are booking out 2.5 weeks for rentals". When I acquired the second vehicle improper cleaning and sanitation was revealed; there were chips underneath the driver's seat, an unknown substance smear on the sunglass's holder, and dried food smeared into the floor under the driver seat. I made the complaint and received an apology stating, "I will talk to the service department to do better". There was no compensation offered for the unsanitary inconvenience which required personal elimination of the tarnish the vehicle possessed. I am disheartened by the failure of exceptional customer-service Mercedes Benz of Lincoln alleges to possess. Mercedes Benz of Lincoln affirms to provide luxury vehicles, value and respect their customers. However, my experience with the company suggests I am not a valued or respected customer. Also, proper protocols to amend the incompetence of customer service and service is not highly regarded. Mercedes Benz of Lincoln conveyed their customers are highly regarded at the time of purchase, and post purchase the customer is no longer valued.Husker Auto Group Response

I bought a used 2014 Nissan maxima from Husker Auto some years back for $22,000 to find out from another dealership that It was a salvage title! ... And since nobody was willing to deal with me and my salvaged car I was forced to go back to Husker Automotive on trade for only $6,000! ... I'm still stuck in their loop from loan rolling over. I am a non proud owner of a 2018 Dodge Journey paid $32,000 for it used when it only cost 19,500 brand new off the Assembly line. I owned it for about a year and it has horrible front end problems I have taken it to them about seven times now. Always the same result, they keep the vehicle anywhere from 3 weeks to a month and beyond never geting it fixed. I'm convinced they keep it so long to teach me a lesson to stop bringing it to them even though I paid for bumper to bumper. Please do not go to Husker Automotive EVER!!Husker Auto Group Response

I would have to disagree with the 'NO EXPENSE TO THE CUSSTOMER' comment. I received no compensation for the last 8 years of the thousands upon thousands of dollars this dealer mistake has costed me and my family.... I'm very thankful that they have ended my nightmare by taking the vehicle and the remaining debt away from me leaving me empty-handed.... but looking at the bright side of things DEBT FREE!!
