They performed an oil change on my vehicle. Shortly after, I noticed an oil slick on my garage floor. Upon inspection, I found oil dripping from my skid plate. I was able to hand tighten the filter at least another 1/2 turn. Making sure the new filter is on tight is oil change 101. Haven't had any oil leaking since. I filled out their online form to let them know about it. A couple weeks went by, and I received no response, so I called them. The employee's response was, what do you want me to do about it? I said that it is a basic competency to get the filter tight, and they should be aware that it happened. I also said that I likely will not be returning for service again. His reply was, Ok, sounds good. Can't get much more of an - I don't care about customer service - attitude than that.Review from La H

Two months ago I took my car for an oil change and week later for tires to be checked. My car only has 70k miles. No issues occurred until after the work was done there. My tire sensor light was replaced two years ago and now back on. My ignition has been having issues due from my key being chipped during oil change. Car has a safety feature will not start unless you press your foot on break. Now barely starts because safety feature which is tied to the key and ignition switch is no longer working properly. I did take my car down there a few weeks ago. The mechanic had his feet outside car and started ignition by forcing key all the way over. I was told my key was warped due to discoloration yet my key was like that when I purchased the car from the dealership plus I was told about the safety feature car will not start unless your foot is on break petal. I've scheduled for my car to be inspected by another mechanic. Also called dealership to order and cut a key for my car which 300.00 just for the key.ive always taken my car there never had a complaint until recent events. After my experience of calling several times about what was done to my car only feed back was purchase a new key. A simple oil change and tire check is going to cost me alot of money to fix my car. I'm the only one that drives my car so I know it's not working properly now.Review from Richard W.

Took my jeep in to have the alignment checked, and was told I have to replace all my ball joints before they can align my jeep. I have been in the maintenance world for over 30 years and have a 20+ year military maintenance career as well under my belt. I didn’t want to be “that guy” so I took it to another shop to have it looked at and they aligned my Jeep with no issue. I asked them if there was any parts that needed replaced and they stated that everything in my Jeep was nice and tight and that would be expected as it only has 56000 miles on it. T.O Haas gets a 0 rating on this as I feel completely takin advantage of and I no that had I not question what they said the would have scammed me out of money. I only feel sorry for all the other people they have already scammed.Review from John C

My wife took her tire In for a simple puncture repair. When we received the tire back the tire and rim were extremely dirty her beautiful gloss black rims were scratched and looked terrible. Called the manager and sent pictures. His response was that never happened in his shop and accused me of lying. I WILL NEVER EVER! Do business with a To Haas as this is my second incident with ruined rims.T.O. Haas Tire Response

This customer has a history with our company of accusing us of scratching wheels. Out of a good faith adjustment we paid for a brand new set of wheels once before but now that we see a pattern we are holding firm that we DID NOT scratch this wheel. In fact, when the wheel was dropped off the woman mentioned that it was a brand new wheel so we needed to be very careful. The fact that it was brought in for a flat repair is evidence that it was not a "brand new wheel" but none the less, we were very careful with the repair.
The photos that we were given showing the damage looks like somebody intentionally scratched the wheels with fine grit sandpaper or polish compound. The scratches were inside the spokes and in areas where our machinery and employees have no reason to touch.
Our contention is this person is hoping that we will once again pay for something that is not our fault.Customer Response

Thank you for proving that you don't care about quality of work or customer service. Yes you are correct this is the second time I've had an issue with ToHaas workmanship. The last time all 4 rims had screw driver gouge marks from removing wheel weights. Also the tire machine left a circular scratch all the way around the face of the wheel. And yes I was compensated $1000 for the problem but only after you offered $500. And I quote "to make the problem go away" For me to purchase new wheels it would cost me $600 per factory wheel. The second problem I called and specifically asked them to not waste my time and I won't waste yours and I specifically said I had an issue at a different ToHaas location. I get my wheel and tire back and Someone at ToHaas took tire mounting compound and smeared it all over the face of the wheel all the way to the lug nut holes and wiped it off with a dirty shop towel and scratched the wheel. So yes I'm PISSED and I'm OFFENDED ToHaas has the audacity to shed blame to a paying customer. This is PROOF ALL future customers need to think twice about doing business with a company who is about quantity rather than quality! They won't stand behind their work! I'm most disappointed in the managers not taking responsibility. I will NEVER recommend ToHaas to anyone nor will I ever return!!Review from Amy K

I had purchased tires from T.O. Haas *********************** business in Lincoln, NE this fall. Then I had a realignment done with them Saturday, Dec. 11. A week later (Sat. Dec. 18th), my daughter and I were running some errands in Lincoln, NE.
We were driving on Highway 2 when I heard a loud thunk. I assumed it was a rock or something.
We then stopped to visit a friend before heading home. After leaving the friend's home. I drove away and notice something was wrong with my car. I pulled over and discovered my tire on the driver's side leaning inward. I call T.O. Haas, they said it could be their fault but they were not sure until they look at it. Then, I had it towed to them. Of course, it was 15min. before they closed; so it would have to sit there until Monday when they could look at it. They were short and offered no support.
Meanwhile, I was without a car for the rest of the weekend and was to head to Iowa for my Uncle's funeral on Monday. I have no family or another car that I could use. I could not get a rental since it was not an accident related issue so my insurance would not cover it until I hit my deductible. I am my daughter could have been in a serious accident due to their negligence/error. The tow guy said how lucky we were.
T.O. did take responsibility for the error after it took all day yesterday for them to fix it (failed to tighten the bolts that are on the strut mount which caused the sway bar link bar to break). They paid me back for the alignment and did not charge me to fix their big safety error. But I was unable to attend a funeral since they offered me no loan vehicle. I do not trust their work and feel they should have had better customer service.
I tried calling the phone number on their paper work that states, "Our goal is a PERFECT 5/5 score. If we haven't earned that, please call Customer Service at ____(BBB will not let me put phone number in to submit review)". I called that number and it was a church number. I went to the T.O. Website to see they have the wrong number on their paperwork to contact customer support. I left a message with the corporate manager at 2:30PM on Monday. It said I called them after 3PM they will return my call at 7:30AM the next day. I called before then but heard nothing back. the next day, today (Dec. 21) still no call back from them.
I am extremely disappointed with T.O. Haas *********************** business in Lincoln, NE. I would not recommend them due to how serious this could have been and I feel they need to do better to fix this serious error.
