On multiple occasions we were told that we owed money for days our child attended when she did not. That was while we were on a flex card. We switched from a flex card to tuition at 3 days a week. Again, we were told we owed money for a week which we pre paid. This week we paid tuition and they closed school due to weather. We now have to forfeit the days that we pre paid.Business response

This family enrolled with us using our Flex Card/Care option. Cards can be purchased for five days at a time. The family had used all of their days and we were able to show this in our tracking system. The parent did not agree even after seeing the days they used. He was upset and verbally abusive to the leadership team at the school.
When it is unsafe for staff and families to drive in inclement weather, we make the decision to reduce our hours and/or close our schools. In the Enrollment Agreement that Mr. *********** signed, it clearly states that families will be charged for these days unless we close for three or more consecutive days - which we did not.
Without notice, the family has moved their child's schedule to three days a week - no longer using the Flex Card/Care option. We have accommodated this despite our policy and requirement of providing a two-week notice to any schedule changes.
Moving forward, we will be asking this family to find alternate care if his interactions continue to be inappropriate and unprofessional.

It was a mutual agreement to move away from the flex and to tuition three days a week. We were never asked to wait two weeks for the new schedule to take affect. It seems to me that some rules may be arbitrary. Due to poor Management skills they never informed us we had a to pay a new registration fee or had me sign a new agreement. I would like to request the signed copy of this agreement.
