      Oppd has had me on hold 3 different times for over 45 minutes each since2 pm!!! Not one answer all day! I even put my number in at 4:45 for a call back still nothing and I am still on hold with Them. They threw a bunch of unfair charges on my account then shut off my lights while I was at work today: I've been calling like I said since 2 pm-5 hours to work this out and they are still refusing to answer or call back. For an essential service ?! Are you kidding me?! I don't understand why we pay such high "service charges" when we e don't get service! And it's a monopoly so what can you do?! I'm so upset!!!

It was definitely a perfect storm of scam calls that day and a rare situation with our phone system. Thank you for understanding and please let us know if we can help with anything else!

      We have been out of Power since 7/31/2024. We have reported our since our Power went out. Haven't seen a Power truck in our area at all. We had no lines or trees down it is 100 degrees plus with heat in dex cannot get a person on the line. We have small children my husband has asthma. Observed 3 oppd trucks all at a grocery store. We are suffering from heat and food has now gone bad.

      We understand the frustration and understand that its more than an inconvenience. The path of damage from Wednesday’s storm was incredibly widespread, more so than any storm we’ve experienced before, including in 2021. This type of damage makes the repairs more complex and take much longer than expected. OPPD Crews, Mutual Aid crews have been working around the clock to help restore service and will continue to until all are back on.

      During the last outage we had line fall across our driveway and lay there for three nights now. Reported to OPPD numerous times. Was told not to move it or drive over it. Impossible to do. Still no one from OPPD showed up to see if it was live or fix it. I understand a lot people were affected by this storm, but stop and see if it’s live, come back and fix another time. Fine. You rarely get someone to answer the phone, but when they do, they know nothing. Nothing from OPPD. Hoping they show up tomorrow so we can start driving. (We have figured out the line is not live, we are still breathing). Frustrating to say the least. A little information goes a long way.

      Scamming individuals I agree to the terms & conditions I have confirmed that this device works with my current HVAC system and I will not return my device due to incompatibility. I acknowledge that I have read the Terms & Conditions and eligible dates of this promotion. * I agree to install and enroll by 5/24/2024 upon receipt of my smart device or return the device by 4/26/2024. I acknowledge that failure to do so will result in $89.99 charge from OPPD on my bill. * I acknowledge that this smart device is not under warranty by OPPD. All device defects should be reported to Emerson customer support. *

      Extremely unprofessional technicians, and customer service has gone extremely downhill. So sad for a multimillion dollar corporation to have such disrespectful people working for them. Do better with your training process.

      *************************************************************** *** I slowly seen growth of about 30% I know **************** because I have not changed my routine in a year. They have been turning my power off, and on suspiciously. I know they don't read our meters. I bet there billing process is not so electrical.

We unfortunately did not get a chance to discuss your perception of us turning power off/on suspiciously and our meter reading and billing processes. We did want you to know the momentary outages you recently experienced were due to tree branches that came into contact with the power lines. While they were brief, we do understand the inconvenience of them and that our customers rely on electricity to power their lives. It is our goal to provide that experience to you and all our customers.

      While you may not see us personally each month, we take great pride in obtaining monthly readings so billing accurately reflects electricity consumption. For your address alone, we obtained an average of 18 meter reads each month for the last year.

      We appreciate your time in speaking with us and for having been an OPPD customer!
