I contracted with Accomplished Auto on April 6, 2022. I paid 2600.00 for an engine swap out, with a written warranty for parts and labor for 3yr/ 36,000 miles. I went to A. A . on Nov 2, 2022. They assessed repairs on the engine and rescheduled for November 5,2022. In pursuit of a schedule change, initiated by me, in November 3, 2002, A.A. offered me a 2600.00 refund on monies spent with them; asking me , both over the phone and by email to " do my business elsewhere". Since that time I have submitted many request in attempts to negotiate a settlement of the outstanding contract. I was informed that they " were advised by their attorney not to speak with me" and that I would be receiving papers shortly. Their website states no refunds within their terms of service: However Clint J**** (owner) and his shop manager Ryan L*******, had together offered, in lieu of no service on the warranty, opting to reimburse me for their refusal to service the car, offering $2600.00 on November 3, 2022. I never received the money. Thus my complaint herein. I hope you all will be able to help me obtain my objectives as stated. Thank you.

      Business response

We have tried to work with her and did extensive warranty work for her but she kept expanding what she wanted to be warranted beyond what is technically covered under warranty. The work involved a used engine which was in reasonable condition when left here. However, we did not get paid for nor charged her to completely disassemble the engine and replace all possible seals and gaskets although we did several that were easy to do. It got to the point that this customer coming in was too disruptive to my employees and did not appear we could ever satisfy all her demands in a reasonable manner. We offered a full refund at this point but she wanted to pursue a legal remedy. We are awaiting a review and paperwork from a lawyer before proceeding further with the case.

      Complaint: ********

This is my response to Accomplished Autos form letter
response to my Claim against their business.
I brought my Audi A4 1999 to their shop on or around March 24, 2022 for the engine swap. They provided a drive away car that I returned home in. This was the first time I met them.
On April 6,  I and a friend went to Accomplished Auto to pick up my car. We had to wait a little while. As we were leaving I noticed my front end was " not right". (Wrong tires
installed by them). I asked Clint about it and he said " they didn't do anything to the brakes", as that was just a guess I had
suggested at the time. I left there after he checked the fuse for my radio, which also was not functioning. I smelled fumes of gasoline as I drove home. I stopped at Hayes Auto , they determined my fuel pump was not installed properly and fixed it.Accomplished Auto payed the 50.00 bill after they were made aware by a phone call from Hayes.
I paid 2568.00 to Accomplished Auto on April 6, 2022. They sent me invoices electronically, for all related documents including a written warranty stating terms and a receipt of my payments to them. I have attached these to your Company in prior emails sent to you electronically.
After April 6 I wrote a positive review for Accomplished Auto on their website.
On June 22 ****** and I returned to Accomplished Auto; after making a prior phone call to schedule this appointment.
I asked them to rotate my tires. I had a muffler leak. We took the loaner car and returned in about 1 hour to get our car and leave. They charged 75.00 , we  payed and got in our car. Again the tires were installed incorrectly; the two larger tires on the front end would not allow the wheels to move without contacting the wheel well. I got back out of the car and went in to ask them to fix it. I had ripped my pants and made a joke  of it at this time. They fixed the tires- and we left.
The third visit was November 2, 2022. I called on that prior Monday speaking with Ryan telling him my concerns;he made the appointment for November 2.  Clint would not return my call, as I had called him prior.  I told Ryan that the tires were wrong - and that I had changed them: I was informed by Pete's Auto that my differential was damaged as a result of driving with those mismatched tires.  I also told Ryan about having no heat, due to a thermostat problem, and that my car was leaking oil from the engine. As such they were aware at the time ****** and I arrived on November 2,2022 @10:30 and were equip to deal with the repairs. After about 1.5 hours of looking over the car with their mechanic they informed me that we needed to reschedule for later that week because changing the thermostat would take 5 hours..or so. I questioned that. I also mentioned the repair of my differential at this time. Clint did not concede to that repair as being their responsibility. Ryan had screamed profanely at me and then offered me  an appointment for the same week to finish the work on the thermostat and oil leak .I also needed suspension work as we discussed at this visit.
I returned home and left a message for Clint to send me an estimate for the upcoming job .I asked for documentation because I knew they were not willing to repair the differential. Also because I had requested suspension repairs, to be done at the same time as they were fixing the Warrantied issues. I wanted to see what they were estimating for my next appointment.
As such I never received the documentation. On the week of the 3rd of November I was informed by both Clint and Ryan that they did not want to work with me ...and they offered me all monies spent with them, that I would do my business elsewhere. This by documented email attached in yesterday's email to B.B.B.
THEY breached our contract and attempted to " pay me to go elsewhere". I was reluctant as the repairs remaining, as related to the warranty are not easily scheduled elsewhere.
I also thought they should pay for the remaining time on the warranty@ 100.00 a month.
As we all can see throughout this process that I was indeed a customer starting with a phone call in early March 2022. That they began the work as agreed. And today I still require a thermostat replacement, still have a leak around seals, and a broken differential.
I would again request my $2600.00 returned to my account,
thereby ending all claims against Accomplished Auto's word and your work.
      Thank you,
      *****
