If I could give less than a star I would. Schedule glaze removal 2 months out. I was give a 3&1/2 hour window on the day if the appointment for when the tech would arrive. It is 5 days before Christmas in NH and it is cold with not being able to run wood stoves. I have young children and an elderly parent at home. Amanda F*** called to cancel 30 minutes before the end of appointment window because tech was in Maine and couldn’t make it. 2 days wait until appointment can be rescheduled. When I voiced dissatisfaction at how late it was that they were canceling after I took work off to be at appointment she was absolutely so rude and nasty. She said customers lie and that causes appointments to run late for the techs so it isn’t her fault. Also that I was being disrespectful to her about complaining. She said I had no idea how it is in the service industry, things just happen and no one told me to take time off from work for the appointment. I explained to her that the least she could do was apologize for the inconvenience and try to be understanding. She basically let me know that wasn’t happening and told me if I didn’t like it I could go somewhere else. I asked to speak to a manager and she said she was it. I did reschedule and she gave no guarantee the tech would show. If I had an option I would go with another company, but given the temp outside and the holidays, I need to heat my home as quickly as possible. Terrible customer service and a nasty human being in general. I hope she gets exactly what she deserves for Christmas.

Repeat customer who has been mistreated. Scheduled a pellet stove service appointment and had to wait a couple of months. The pellet stove was installed a few year prior by Armstrong. Stove was fully functional when tech arrived and when work was wrapped up the stove didn't work. Tech on his way out mentioned the office would reach out to me with next steps. Dealing with single digits temperatures out door any little thing helps and now have a broken stove that doesn't work. Two days later I hadn't heard from their office so I sent an email inquiring what the next steps were. The admin responded stating the operations manager had our paperwork on his desk and that I am on the list. A day after that I decided to call for some information and admin gave me more of the same stating "work order is on my bosses desk, he will get back to you in a couple of days". After persistence on my part I decided to track down the ops manager and he gave me a long story on why they weren't communicating and basically stated again I wasn't top priority. As a customer you shouldn't feel like you are bothering a business that you just spent a ton of money on to get something fixed that now doesn't work. Armstrong years ago was different and today my experience is very sour. Maybe too much business has impacted their customer service? Maybe new employee vetting is the issue? Maybe it's the management? It's said to see customer service like this. Please beware.. you will reach out for help and you may or may not get it. Pay quoted money now but you'll be back burnered the moment something else comes along.

This customer was fully aware their stove had issues and during the intial call the customer claimed the stove would randomly shut off, over heat and the control board was broken. All incomming phone calls are recorded, so this is a statement of fact not opionion. During this phone call the customer speciifically asked for a cleaning and a replacement control board assuming that the overheating issue was due to the stove not being cleaned for a long time. On 1/12/2022 we replaced the control board and performed a full cleaning of the stove. Our technician (the same tech that installed the stove intially) started the stove and noted that it worked. Our techicians do not observe the stove for extended periods of time. Later that same day the customer called wanting Armstrong to come back as the stove shut off. Armstrong went back to the home the same day and upon further inspection noted that the high limit switch, a safety to prevent the stove from cathcing fire, was engaged. The Armstrong techncian noted that the convection blower, which removes heat from the stove was not performing to specifications and required replacement. A quote for a replacement convection fan was given to the customer on 1/14/2022, two days later. I've personally reached out to the customer multiple times and have not received a call back. If this customer decides to remove these reviews Armstrong is williing to work with them on a solution but only once all reviews are removed. Armstrong is happy to provide the customer with the recorded conversation from their intial call into our office, where the customer explains to Armstrong that the stove does not work. In addition Armstrong can also provide the other phone call to our offfice where he verbally assults our female office manager, while making threats of using his goverment accecss to find the personal cell phone numbers of our operations manager and the owner, which he did in fact do.

Post made was purely feedback to prospective buyers and community. Based on comments made i gather this is from CEO. Proves my point how customers are treated all the way from the top. Not looking for refund or for Armstrong to come back. I called for service to get something fixed and was worse off when they left. Another company that competes with Armstrong came immediately and got it fixed within a day.

Armstrong's response was simply to outline the factual events that transpired and expose your lies. I'm glad you could find a new company to fix this issue within a day.
