Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We apologize for any inconvenience that Mr. ***** may have experienced in regard to the cancellation of his vehicle service contract.
As Mr. ***** has noted, he requested the cancellation of his VSC with Tom A**** in October. Unfortunately, the cancellation was not processed at that time. However, once Meghan and I became involved, we worked diligently to process the cancellation, and a check was issued to Huntington Bank on February 15th, and check was cashed and cleared our account on March 9th. During our last phone conversation, I provided Mr. ***** with information about the check and even offered to print him a copy of it so he could come and pick it up, but he declined.
We understand that the cancellation process took longer than Mr. ***** expected and accept responsibility that former employee Tom A**** did not process this in a timely fashion. It's worth noting that the normal time for VSC cancellations is between 6 to 8 weeks, and we managed to complete this process in a timely manner, despite the initial delay.
We hope that Mr. ***** will accept our apologies for any inconvenience he experienced and consider this matter resolved. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
