      I was hired a week ago after going through orientation and working Friday, Saturday and Sunday then I noticed she didnt post anything for the next week on the schedule She did this to several employees telling them that she had to watch her budget but in the meantime was hiring more people can someone please tell me if this is right to do this to people Like me and employees that have worked there longer everyone there is very upset. why in the world would you hire so many people and tell them they have a job and then dont schedule them? She is a new boss that came from the dollar store that has absolutely no idea what she is doing. That is so terrible to do to the employees there especially around Christmas time. I can only hope that one day it happens to her.. Her name is ********. She came from the dollar tree and has absolutely no idea what she is doing. I have worked many of years in retail. I had my own store. You dont treat your employees like this.

      I own a store in *******, and ever so I often I would go to the Langhorne store located on ******* highway to shop & for some reason the black lady with the low cut bleached white hair always profiling me, watching me thinking Im stealing. I am not sure what gave her that impression but I find it very verrrryyyy offensive especially when I spend so much money in that store shopping for my store that I own. Last week I heard her say to the other staff that I actually bought something today I even have her on recording saying it. And the reason why I recorded is her is because I was just fed up of her profiling me whenever i go to the store. If the store should look up my phone number they will see I spend thousand of dollars in this store. Being a loyalty customer for over the past 15 years I hate that I am constantly being stalked EVERY SINGLE TIME I come to this store. How dare she say something like this when I shop here so often. This her 2nd time. The last time she called the cashier and I over heard her told him to ensure he check the bag I purchased to ensure I didnt hide anything in it. She is very rude and out of pocket and needs to be coached that not every black person is a thief. A lot of times I am in the store, I have my clients on ******** (they live in *******) showing them whats in the store, then once they make a decision, I return and make my purchase. I find it very offensive that your staff thinks I am a darn thief. I feel attacked and harassed and I should not feel this way when I am a loyal customer who spends my hard earned money. I understand she has a job to do but the way she is doing it by wrongfully misjudging me is definitely not the right way and she needs ALOT of coaching. Why should I spend my money where the staff makes me feel uncomfortable?

      After contacting Burlingtons corporate office numerous times (via ************** to receive a credit of $67.90 to my bank account, from a return dating back to 7/24/24, it is quite evident that your company has not done their part to rectify this matter.I am beyond disappointed with how this has been handled. Therefore, I absolutely refuse to step foot in another Burlington store. This may not be a great loss to your company, but it will be a great loss to myself.

      On August 6th at approximately 11am I was accused of stealing from Burlington on *************************. While shopping for my kids, when I heard the lady on the intercom giving out my description. I was dressed in a polo style shirt with my company logo attached with black pants. So I proceeded to see what was going on and the lady that was giving out my description over the cb radio was very rude and act as if she wasn't talking about me. Feeling very confused on what's going on I continue to finish shopping, next thing I know lost prevention came to me and told me that they need to talk to me in the front. At this point I knew something was wrong, so we get to the front and they told me that I was seen shoplifting and that I was at another Burlington store before that one. I haven't been to any other Burlington store but the one on Park ave. I felt very embarrassed as I waited for the police to show up and do my reports, which they never showed up. While waiting I contacted corporate for answers on what's going on but still no response. I also have everything I need to prove I wasn't stealing from store #** or any other store. My customers from that day had all ring camera footage of me and time stamped footage of me at their home providing services at whatever time they said I was stealing. This is absurd and I wont stop seeking justice for the wrongdoing of Burlington and their employees.

      Extremely hostile work environment. Upper management is full of middle aged women who are jealous of the younger staff that work there. Store manager would often cause problems with customers/shoplifters then flee the scene and expect other members of management or sometimes minors to deal with the aftermath. HR, District Manager, Regional OPs, etc. are all besties so dont expect any complaints or concerns to get you anywhere. Do not work for them, do not let your kids work for them.

      I purchased a shirt for $12.99. The shirt didn't fit when I tried it at home. I took it back to the store (*****) located at *************************************************************************, but they only offered me a partial refund of $7.69. I refused to accept it and asked for a full return. They refused stating that the price of the item I purchased has changed. Never heard anything like that before at any business!

      Today, my mother and I visited the **************** store, and it was an absolute disgrace! Ive never seen anything like it! Merchandise in just about every department was literally strewn on the floor like the place was ransacked. The womens shoe **** and handbag **** were the worst! Shoes were littered everywhere! People were looking at the shoes and if they didnt like them, back on the floor they went! Housewares was a mess as well! Area rugs and mats were in the middle of the isles, leaving you no choice but to avoid them! Clothes were hanging off their hangers, while others were all over the floor! Nothing whatsoever was categorized or in its place! The area to wait in line at the checkouts was trashed! Candy, food all over the floor, some powder like substance was poured out on a shelf! Its unknown how anyone could/would shop in this store! Employees were incognito, no name tags, lanyards, nothing indicating they were employees! They looked like customers, cashiers were disheveled looking. We mentioned to an employee we did manage to find, the fact everything was a mess, and we were told its near the end of the day, so this is when we work on straightening things up! Yeah ok! It would take an entire crew an entire shift, if not longer, to straighten that place out! Its not even Christmas or a major holiday! There is no reason whatsoever a store should even look like this! The managers should be ashamed! One thing for certain is that I will NOT return to that store and will make it known to others as well, that I do not recommend it!

      It's been 1 month and I never got paid. I was asked by the new manager at the ******************** in ************ FL to come in he had no one to work. I stop lunch with my husband to come in. He should have made sure I was paid on time after I did him a favor. I had to call corporate to fix an issue he should have done. He kept saying I was paid when in fact I wasn't. Never called to see and in his voice he didn't care. I would never work for Burlington again, very short staff and zero training before there's never enough coverage ?? Wish I could give a Zero for this location.

      My mother and I recently visited the Burlington store located at **********************************************************************. We entered the store carrying a reusable bag from HomeGoods, intending to shop. Shortly after we began browsing, an individual, presumably in a loss prevention role and identified as ****, approached us to inquire if we needed any assistance. We responded politely in the affirmative, although we noticed that other nearby customers were not approached with the same question.After about 20 minutes, not finding what we were looking for, we decided to leave. As we exited, **** called out to us, questioning if we had made any purchases. Despite seeing that our reusable bag was empty and folded, he pressed further, expressing doubt that we had not brought the bag with us upon entering and inaccurately noted that it was from Burlington. This interaction was not only shocking but also embarrassing, marking a significant departure from the many years of positive shopping experiences we have had with Burlington.This situation seemed to escalate without cause, particularly when **** mentioned that he was now more suspicious of us, despite having no reason for such an accusation. The manager on duty informed us that **** was new, having started just a month prior, and described his actions as ******* customer servicing." However, this explanation does not justify the undue scrutiny and lack of professionalism displayed.We believe the incident may have been influenced by racial profiling, as we observed that other customers were not subjected to the same treatment. Such incidents erode trust and respect between customers and the business. If this represents the level of training and conduct encouraged among new employees, it is imperative that Burlington reassesses its training programs to ensure all customers are treated with fairness and respect.Unfortunately this experience has significantly impacted our perception of Burlington.
