Order not received & no communication from company after follow up inquiry sent.Business response

Thank you for presenting this to us. I am very sorry for the lapse that I am seeing.
We telephoned (left a message)as well as wrote an explanation and apology. A copy of that email is attached here. The items of your order were found to be unsaleable at the time of packing and our dept really thought that we would have more of the correct item within days - and out to our customer with free next day service.
Unfortunately, that item has not arrived as of now.
So we are not causing any more of a lapse, I have voided the order. No refund is needed because we did not charge anything toward this order. We only actually charge a card when we make the shipment.
Our department has created a gift certificate should our customer want to try something else - or hasn't found this same item when it does come in. We will also upgrade the shipping, no charge again, to next day delivery at our expense so that a new choice arrives almost on-time.
Thank you for "hopefully your understanding of this order headache we created and hopefully avoided. We welcome any follow-up to this should be be given the opportunity to provide another solution.
