Creditors relief was attained to help with overwhelming debt. They took money, but did not pay what they were supposed to, to the debtors. I received correspondence from the debtor that they received two $700 payments, but I paid into the account over $1600. I want the difference back since they did not uphold their end.

      Dear *******************,
We are writing in response to your complaint filed with the Better Business Bureau regarding the debt relief services you received from our company.
First and foremost, we apologize for any inconvenience or dissatisfaction you may have experienced during your time with us. Our primary goal is to assist our clients in achieving relief from overwhelming debt, and we take all concerns seriously.
Upon reviewing your case, we found that you enrolled in our debt relief program on October 12th, and we successfully negotiated a resolution for you by October 17th, less than a week later. We understand the stress that financial difficulties can cause, and we were committed to providing you with timely assistance.
However, it is important to note that throughout the duration of your enrollment, there were challenges regarding consistent payments and communication. Despite our efforts to facilitate your participation in the program, you were inconsistent and cleared less than 50% of the drafts outlined in your agreement.
Furthermore, we encountered difficulties in maintaining communication with you, particularly towards the end of December and into January. Despite our attempts to reach out and address any issues you may have been facing, we experienced a lack of responsiveness from your end.
Regarding the discrepancy in payments made to your creditors, we assure you that our team diligently processes payments according to the terms of your agreement. While we understand your frustration with the situation, we must clarify that the responsibility for ensuring timely and accurate payments ultimately lies with the client.
It's important to note that all fees associated with our services were disclosed multiple times, and we have your acknowledgment both in writing and in recordings. Therefore, we regret to inform you that there will be no refund issued.
That said, we remain committed to resolving this matter to your satisfaction. Please contact us directly so that we can further investigate the discrepancy and work towards a resolution. Your feedback is invaluable to us as we continually strive to improve our services and ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention, and we appreciate the opportunity to address them.

      Complaint: 21293812

I am rejecting this response because:

I have communication with the debtor that payments were not made and they did not receive what I paid you. You are keeping an excess of $800, which is nowhere near the cost I was told. This was not shared with me clearly, and I have communication form the debtor that you did in fact not pay the first payment on time even though I paid. You are not there to help a business, if you were I would not have been in the position I am now in. I have several unanswered emails to several people in your organization that never responded to me.

      Regards,

      Dear ****,

It appears there was a delay in the initial payment to the lender, but I want to clarify that this was not due to any oversight on our part. Our protocols dictate that we only disburse funds upon receipt of a signed settlement agreement from both parties, which we only received on 10/31/2023. As soon as we obtained this agreement, we promptly transferred the funds, and the lender confirmed that the agreement remained in effect. Any subsequent delays in payments were a result of your failure to make funds available and your missed payments.
Additionally, it's worth noting that the creditor took longer to provide the fully executed copy of the agreement due to their involvement in drafting a release letter and releasing holds on your accounts.
Regarding the $800 you mentioned, I'm unsure of the context, but I assure you that all our fees were thoroughly explained on three separate occasions, and we have a recording of you confirming your understanding of these fees.
Regarding any unanswered emails, I've reviewed your file and don't see any outstanding correspondence. However, if you could forward any emails that have not been addressed, I would be happy to discuss them with our team and take appropriate action.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I am rejecting this response because:

This is not how it happened. I have different communication from the creditor that contradicts this.

I have been receiving unsolicited calls from this business about debt relief. I have never signed up or agreed to be called by this company, or any company, about debt relief. I am receiving calls every day from this business. I want to know that this is going to stop immediately.
