I took my iphone 12 mini to talk and fix on May 29 for a screen replacement. The iphone 12 has a water tight screen mounted seal. After the first day everything was fine. I did notice that the frame was bent on the right side of the phone. A week later I dropped it. The screen broke and fell off the phone. I took it to them, I asked about the water tight seal and that the phone screen should not have fallen off the phone. They claim to do another repair. Two weeks ago on Aug 1st the screen got wet outside in the rain. A miner amount. Two hours later the LCD went out and the screen fell off again. After the first interaction with the manager that was very unpleasant I decided to repair the screen myself. After the last time the manager was very rude and a caused me of breaking the phone and being cheap. As well I was outside the "30 day warrantee". Upon fixing the phone I discovered the screen was improperly removed from the phone. It was not unmounted. They took an unmounted screen and put in on top of the phones previous screen mount. I confronted the manager for a refund and he said what I accused is impossible. How to fix the phone properly can be found easily on YouTube to a point that I can fix it myself. They are either incompetent or theyre scamming people. I would like my money refunded. The following photo is the iphone 12 mini with the screen mount they did not remove and additional screen repair. I have proof of replacement purchase and parts. I have a remainder $180 owed to Verizon Wireless for this phone and this company Talk and Fix put my device/property at risk and caused me additional financial burden on top of fixing the phone.Business response

There is proof they did service on my Device on that day at that location. I do not have a receipt because they kept the old one and guaranteed me the phone was good. If I am not provided a refund we will have to file a civil suite for the cost of repair and damages. Bank info is attached.Initial Complaint

I had a Cell Phone Repair kiosk in ************* ****, ************, ******* (AlexnaLLC). I had a cell phone repair franchise contract with Talk N Fix. **** is the manager who were in touch with us. We signed contract and paid our deposit $3,600.00 in August 2016. In 2021, right before busy holiday season in October 2021, he told us that they are closing the kiosk and let us go. We were struggling because of the Covid, business was barely surviving. Best time in the **** is November and December because of the holidays season. He kicked out us and caused us to loose over $20,000.00. I was keep calling **** but he never answered my calls. I send texts finally answered and told me that Simon **** was holding my money. He always had excuses and never wanted to give my deposit back. I was not the only one in the **** with e same issue. Talk N Fix also had a cell phone case kiosk in the same ****. They did the same thing to him as well. Talk N Fix also have an under the table monopoly agreement with Simon ****** Simon **** do not let any independent cell phone repair nor cell phone case kiosks open in their ****s. Only Talk N Fix can open their kiosk and charging the s**** businesses extremely high rents. Please help us, this s**** business to survive. **** is sitting peoples money do not want to return.
