If you are a small business, do NOT enter into a lease with Canon Financial Services. I will be filing a formal BBB complaint, as there is NO way they should have an A+ rating (I've read their allegedly resolved complaints, and it's shameful they've maintained this rating.) Here's the very short story: 1. They indiscriminately charge whatever fees they want when you return your machine at the end of the lease. I was told by multiple people that there could be "additional fees" (that they were never able to explain), specifically stated in an email as follows: "all charges may not be final and any applicable charges will be invoiced" - and we are still fighting fees we already paid, as well as being assessed new ones - AFTER we've returned the machine.2. Their accounting and customer service are a disaster, and no one gives you the same answer - that is, IF they even respond. I provided check numbers, amounts, invoices that I paid (along with those specific amounts), dates checks were deposited by them, emails from their OWN customer service people stating exactly what remaining charges were due, and they still refuse to acknowledge their mistakes, fraudulent charges and deceptive business practices. As of today, I have just been told that they used one of my past payments that was the $250 return fee to cover other "charges" such as what they are calling "pay per use overage" - which fell in months we weren't even USING the machine. We received our ******* machine in December 2023, and the list they sent me for these "overage charges" showed February and March overages. 3. They do NOT care about their customers (since 2013 we have paid them a total of $34,843.08 for ONE machine), they refuse to assist you in the return process by lack of return emails and blaming the customer for "not reading the contract" when/if they do respond, and somehow - they are getting away with this. Shame on you Canon Financial Services. Run far away from this company.

I am sorry to hear that the customer was displeased with their experience. I was able to touch base with the customer and review the complaint. We were able to resolve the customer issues.

Canon attempted to charge bogus late fees in almost half the invoices we received. They also made up fees upon cancellation that existed nowhere in the contract. They are likely banking on the fact that most larger business probably overlook these. The A+ rating is a joke.
