In August of 2017 we moved into our house, the air had stopped working and called Michaels HVAC via a family referral. The company advised it would be best to replace the whole system (heating and cooling). We had them also install a whole house humidifier. We have had to call this company multiple times a year for 5 years now due to ongoing problems with the system. Now our system is rusted and we were informed that we need a chimney lining, however all the years they have been servicing our system nothing was mentioned until we as the homeowners notices rust around a metal pipe. They promised to file the paperwork with our town for inspection and failed to do so.They have been out to do work multiple times a year for 5 years. The last time they were here they had to move a switch that they placed on our furnace that should have been placed on the duct work so it was also getting water damage. Later that night we turned on our heat....no heat...we got fed up and called another company out as we have two small kids and an elderly person in the home. Turns out Michael's HVAC did not rewire the box they moved, they also did not replace the main wire to our breaker box which should have been done upon install.We called the company trying to rectify this ongoing problem and they will not even return our calls anymore. We do not want them back in our house to fix anything as they obviously create more problems leading to more money we have to pay them. We asked for a refund, replacement of or system or financial reimbursement for this system. 5 years and nothing but problems and now our whole system is rusted. Please help us. They have been paid over $6,000 dollars.
