In early 2020, ****, the owner of Santos Flooring installed hard wood flooring in my house. When it was first installed, the floors looked nice. However, after about a year, in February 2021, I began to notice cracking in between the wood slats. I called him and I sent him pictures of the floor, asking him if he would please come out an take a look at it because it didn't seem normal to me. He ensured me that it was normal due to the changes in the temperature. I again asked if he would come out to take a look at the floor because I never seen anyone else's wood floor do that. He never responded. After the summer passed last year, I became increasingly worse. The sides are now warping. I texted him again, explaining that the wood was now curling up at the edges and asking him to please come to take a look at the floors. He did not respond. I am gathering my receipts now, but I spend over ***** on the flooring, steps and molding on this job. It has been over a year since I first noticed an issue with the flooring because I have been trying to reach him and work with him amicably to see if he could come out to resolve the issue. Which he has refused. I would really appreciate the Bureau's help in getting this issue resolved.
