Waiting over a week for my dogs chemo medicine and keeps saying delayed. A medication for cancer is something that needs to be given. No updates except when you call they say it should ship the next day yet stays as delayed and then says it will be ready the next day again. Horrible communication for a much needed medication. Could be having the vet try somewhere else but don't want to be charged if they do finally fill his medicine.Review from Rosemary M

Ordered my dogs medicine on 11/1. Called was to be shipped 11/5. WS told I would not get it until 11/12. Almost 2 weeks to receive and I am in the same town !!! Then told them I would come pick it up instead. Well now it wont be ready until 11/8. 3 days to change from shipping to pick up !!!! Horrible management. Will never use them or recommend them to anyone else !Review from Sue K

I just spoke to a customer service person at ******************** to see if my cat's compounded *********** capsules could be changed to a 60-day supply rather than 30. *********** itself is a very cheap drug and Wedgwood charging $1 per capsule for a compounded version is a very high price. The girl told me Wedgewood cannot call my vet that I need to do so. So I said okay fine I will call. Then she says to me, do you want me to go ahead and refill the existing prescription for the quantity of 30? I told her this is what the problem is with a lot of customer service these days. You don't care about how expensive the drug is it just want to fill the existing prescription where I'm paying a dollar a capsule. This to me says there's a big focus on revenue and no regard for the impact on the clients pocketbook. Typically prescription drugs cost less on a per unit basis if you get a larger quantity. This was just a really stupid response on the part of the customer service person. She's going to fill a prescription at a higher cost while concurrently I'm calling my vet to get a new prescription for a greater length of time to help get the unit cost of the drug down? What would Wedgewood even do with my vets prescription if this girl were to go ahead and fill the existing one today? We all know the answer to that the one filled at the lower unit cost per capsule would not get filled. Someone needs to explain customer service to their staff that answers the phones.Wedgewood Pharmacy Response

My dog is on a medication called Ursidol. This med is very important to her and potentially keeps her alive. I requested a refill on the 19 of Oct. I paid extra for a 2 day shipping. I never recieved a notification or any communication. Today 10/25 I called and the recoding said my request was recieved and it was being compounded and I would receive it on the 12th of November. I then spoke to someone and said they didnt have the medication. I was very upset and was forwarded to a supervisor. She also said they did not have the medication and thought maybe by the 12th. I asked why no one ever reached out to me to inform me of this problem. She did not have a reason. Seriously, a pet is on a medication to keep her healthy and you could not be bothered to notify me. You took my payment! Total incompetence. Very mismanaged organization. And to put it mildly, cruel to my dog. I notified my veterinarian and was given a number of an apothecary locally and they can get the medication by Monday. 28th October. Terrible company. Youre supposed to be in the buisness to help treat pets. You didnt do it. You potentially could cause the death of my dog. Wheres your ethics and compliance. Horrible, just Horrible. I ordered my birds medication Haldolperidol in plenty of time. First time using this pharmacy. They know I'm in ******* and the medication should Not reach over 86 degrees. Every other pharmacy that I have ordered from ships her medication in Styrofoam with several ice packs. Received her medication today and heat gun i have to check temperature on it was 95 degrees!! It should not be stored over 86 degrees maximum!! It was Only packed in a cheap plastic bag, no ice packs. Called to explain and pharmacist there told me medication should be fine..Are you Kidding me?? No it's not fine and not risking my 13 year old Cockatoo's life over it. I explained I wanted them to expedite her medication and ship it with ice packs and Styrofoam container..The sad answer I received is "That's not our protocol" I have had to reorder her meds now from another pharmacy that understands temperature control for meds..it takes minimum of 10 days for this compound medication so now I am worried I won't get them in time. I ordered Tacrolimus on 05/23/2024, but with all the medication my pet is taking, I forgot about the order. On 07/10/2024, I received an email stating that my order was still open, and the medication would be temporarily unavailable, asking me to check back in August. When I followed up, they informed me that the order had been delivered on 05/28/2024. Since I hadnt received it, I requested they resend the medication or issue a refund. Unfortunately, they refused, saying I waited too long to contact them, despite this being my first time experiencing such an issue with them. They showed no empathy and refused to correct the situation. Their customer service is extremely disappointing.Wedgewood Pharmacy Response

WARNING ********* WEDGEWOOD PHARMACY regarding their unacceptable customer service and the handling of my recent prescription order by MISLEADING INFORMATION AND DELAYS!!!! Their mishandling of this situation has caused undue stress and potential harm.I just want you to be aware of these issues. For those relying on Wedgewood Pharmacy for their pets' health, I strongly advise caution based on this experience.On July 26th, my veterinarian ordered a prescription through Wedgewood Pharmacy. After Wedgewood Pharmacy confirmed receipt of the order and sent a text for payment collection, I called on July 30th to check the status. I was informed that the medication was out of stock and advised to call back in three days. I followed up on August 2nd, where *** canceled the original order and placed a new one, assuring me that the prescription was in stock, all though it would be in limited quantity. Well, That did happen either!On August 5th and 6th, I was repeatedly told that the medication would arrive on August 7th.On August 7th, I contacted them again and ask for the manager. Spoke with ***, a senior manager, who apologized and confirmed that the prescription would be overnighted for delivery on August 8th. However, this information proved false.The order status on Wedgewood Pharmacys website indicated shipment on August 7th, but *** tracking showed that *** did not yet have possession of the package. Today, August 8th, I spoke with *** "senior manager", who claimed that *** picked up the package today from the lab, contradicting the tracking information.It has been nearly two weeks of misleading information and delays. Our pets urgently need medication, and Wedgewood Pharmacy's inability to provide accurate information or timely service is unacceptable. Their mishandling of this situation has caused undue stress and potential harm. I ordered a medication once for my dog and it was placed on an auto-ship. I went in to cancel the autoship on my account but was not able to because both medications were marked as ineligible for auto-ship (can't cancel something that the product is not eligible for to begin with). Despite that, this company shipped the medication anyway and charged me for it. When I called to cancel it, they said it had already shipped and they were only willing to refund me 50% of the charge. Paying for something their website said would not ship and I didn't have the ability to cancel is unacceptable.Wedgewood Pharmacy Response

The *********** lost my dogs prescription. While trying to run it down he was running out of med. I called Wedgewood to reorder and they filled the second scrip at no charge with expedited shipping also no charge. I told Wedgewood Id send one of the orders back when the ** recovered it. They said not to worry and keep it if it was found. Excellent customer service!Wedgewood Pharmacy Response
