      I purchased an air conditioner unit from Elite, which works fine. However, they called me at a later date and said was entitled to a free maintenance check of my furnace, since I did business with them. They sent someone to my home. He went in the attic, came back later, and said everything was fine. Months down the road, HELP of Southern Nevada came out to evaluate my home for repairs. They found that my return boxes on my furnace were disconnected. He showed me the picture he took. The boxes were 4 inches from the furnace. They were obviously removed by hand. The only person that was in the attic in 15 years was the man from Elite. He was the only person who could have possibly done this. I called Elite and talked to his boss, who didn't sound surprised when I told him what happened. He claimed that the service man told me they were disconnected. Which was a lie. He never gave me an invoice, because it was a free service. If HELP of Nevada hadn't showed up, I would never know why I had no heat. It's a shady way to get business. I should have smelled a rat when they offered a free service for no reason.

      I got a call from Elite Plumbing and Heating offer maintenance on my air condition gave me a price for $50.00 to check my system. I agree and schedule for a maintenance man to come to my house. The maintenance man check the condenser which outside the house. He said I have a leak and a technician will come the next day to advised me what is wrong with the unit. He said that I have a leak and need to replaced the whole system and gave me the price $7026.00. That day I am desperate to have the system fixed it is really hot. I quite hesitate because the amount is too high and he said I can finance it and pay for 6 month without interest. I quite agree.I asked a copy of the invoice he created is not yet finalize will give me the copy the next day. He gave me the copy the amount is a lot higher than the original amount he first quote .He cross out the original amount and wrote over the amount of $7226.00 I complain he went back to the original amount. I think I am being taken being a senior citizen. I ask for a senior discount he promise me he will give me a $300.00 . But no discount. I also ask him to give me a copy of the amount of each equipment installed. I never got a copy. I talked to a costumer rep. Gave me a run around. I feel this people took advantage of me being a senior citizen I got to my senses and think I do not need to replaced my whole system. I am writing this letter to tell you of my prostration and disappointment with this company. I urge not to hire this company , they are dishonest and liars.

      Good day Mrs ******

      We did call you to schedule your maintenance which you schedule but canceled the day that it was scheduled due to your AC system not working.

      We did not go out there for any maintenance.

      Your air conditioning system was flat (had no refrigerant in it). Due to the phase our of R22 we and oil stains all over the condenser (where the leak happened) we recommend that you change out at least the condenser and evaporator coil.

      Your price was 7000.00 with 60 months no interest not 6 months.

      I have no idea where the other numbers are coming from but if you would like to come into our office we would love to get this worked out for you.

      Also we can show you that your invoices have been emailed out a couple times. Our system saves all emails incoming and out going.

      On our pricing we use a flat rate system so everybody pays the same no matter what there situations may be.

      Please read your review and make sure that everything you saying is correct.

      Run away from this company! The Las Vegas location is a horrible company. They installed my unit quite a few years ago. Because my family only occupied the home once a year, the unit was not used often. I hired a person to look after the home and followed Elite's advise on how to run the unit in our absence. The unit never worked the way it was supposed to. Heat did not work correctly, air did not work correctly in the summer. I asked Elite to come out to fix the unit, that did not happen so I hired a licensed air conditioner expert to come in and work on the unit. They got it to work as best they could but determined that it was the unit. Now the owner/manager refuses to come out to fix the unit bc I was forced to ask someone else to help our family. I asked him to come out and just get the $11,000.00 unit to work. I said CAN you come to work on the unit, he said yes, I then asked WILL YOU and he said NO. He concentrated on me calling to complain, me asking someone to help me and my tenants/family! The owner/manager is horrible, the ladies who answer the lines and take initial customer information are great!! Initially getting him, the manager, on the line, he never gave me the inclination that he was the rude manager I initially spoke to until after I gave my complaint. He blamed everyone else for his installers mistake. He was accusatory, rude, condescending, and took the situation as a joke. I've never encountered anyone in customer service so rude. He continued to poke the bear as I am very soft spoken...when he kept on poking I raised my voice - he said "geez, I'd hate to hear you when your mad..." I've never! I urge you to look into another company where you know you will get continued customer service. He likely has a recording of our conversation, I'd urge anyone to listen. Adding this review so no one has to go through this.
