      If I could give them 0 stars I would, I had to sue them in February to get back the rest of my security deposit they attempted to steal from me and they still have not paid me. I spent 3 years in that apartment, it became an issue shortly after they transitioned into being managed by Blue House, complete with them attempting to bug bomb my apartment for an infestation we did not have, threatening legal action against me for telling people how they’ve spoken to me and how they treated me, and how they completely neglected my apartment with shoddy repairs and sub-standard living conditions. I will never recommend someone I know living in any space managed by them and frankly they need to be investigated, which I believe is the sentiment left on every single foul ****** review that they have and cannot stop themselves from replying to.

      Terrible management company. There was an apartment break in with glass shattered everywhere. Someone stole packages from the mail room. Management tried to hide the break in from residents. Apartments may appear nice on photos but they come in dirty condition and there is a smell in the hallway. Saw cockroaches in apartment when I moved in. Elevators and garage doors often breakdown. BBQ grill doesn’t work but they don’t bother fixing it. Management, especially Alexandria and Jordan are notoriously rude to condescending to tenants if you try asking a simple question. Management is also incompetent and slow to respond. Most times they don’t even bother responding on email. Also there are many fees associated with apartment. Please don’t rent from Blue House if you value your quality of life. I am serious

      Always difficult to reach admin or management, and they are rude and condescending when you do manage to speak with them. They keep saying that they respond to complaints in a timely manner, but just go ahead and call the line listed and see if anyone picks up. Most of the time it goes to voicemail and then your request or question will maybe be responded to by the next day, if at all. Most likely you will have to call or email multiple times for any concerns. They continually raise the rent every year when the rent is already priced extremely high for the area, and provide the bare minimum for customer service. Packages are constantly being stolen from buildings in the area, and staff clearly does not care about safety of the building or tenants. As per their reply below, it is apparently the fault of the tenant for choosing to move and live in the area. Given they have enough time to respond to all their online reviews, perhaps they should spend more time answering legitimate tenant complaints so tenants do not feel the need to go online and write poor reviews.

      For the amount of issues i've had living here, it's a shame rent is so high. Inconsistent internet, packages getting stolen left and right-and not to mention basically being told it's not your issue when they do-, and being told to address the problem myself when there are noise issues. Area surrounding my location (** **** Ave) is HORRIBLE. The staff are rude, and just overall not hospitable. Rent is way too high, do not live here.

      Blue House Companies has looked into each item the tenant has mentioned, and all correspondence. We found that all issues were addressed in a professional and timely manner. It was well documented that staff tried everything in their power to help with any of your concerns. Safety issues in the surrounding area outside of our property are not the responsibility of staff, as tenant chose to move to the area, and reside for multiple years. Community meetings were attended by staff asking for an increase in Police presence multiple times. Blue House Companies works closely with local law enforcement to use surveillance, police reports put in by tenants, and notifications to the entire rental community to help make the secure site safer. When tenant sent a message stating she did not account for paying her last month's rent, she asked that we forgive that amount. Unfortunately, when the Company let her know that rent would still be due, she threatened to put this review up if we didn't let her off the hook for rent. As we try to do everything in our power to ensure a good experience with our tenants, we are also bound legally by certain contracts, rights of other tenants, and laws that prohibit us from being able to entertain requests that are outside of our scope of practice. We wish her well in the future.

      In response to Blue House, the noise complaint was actually NEVER dealt with. I also did not "threaten" to leave a complaint-I said I would do it regardless. I have the proof for that as well.
