On 5/24/2024 rest easy pest control charged me $353.84 to remove bees from my house. This is also the date they provided the so called service. The technician came over. Sprayed the bees with some liquid and said "that should be good". The bees never went away and we called rest easy pest control back and they said it would be $100 for them to come back. The technician was here for maybe ten minutes. Rushed service. Very unhelpful. I've tried disputing the credit card charge and the company has stated I am having buyers remorse and saying I never called them to make another appointment. I did call and they just wanted to charge more money. They are stating that bees are nature and that they can treat the problem but they cannot stop them from coming back.Initial Complaint

We've used this company for general pest control for about 5 years for a rate of $65 per month. Last year (July 1, 2022), they sold a mosquito repellant service for an additional $85 per month for a one-year contract. There was an initial equipment fee of $1300 and an installation fee of $550. After the initial installation, they are supposed to come once a month to service and refill the mosquito repellant. Last summer, it was very hard to contact them to schedule this service, and we were only able to get them to come out every 6 to 8 weeks instead of the promised 4 weeks. This year we've been unable to get them to come out at all. We've spent the last 2 weeks trying to contact them to schedule this maintenance. Every time we call, they say they'll call back or put us on hold indefinitely. We finally called and asked to cancel the service, at which point they hung up the phone on us and charged our account. They then sent an email saying we had to return the equipment we purchased through them. However, nowhere in the contract does it state that the equipment was a lease. It was made clear to us that we were purchasing the equipment, and they were installing and servicing it. Since receiving the email, we've tried repeatedly to call them and left messages to no response. We contacted the bank and requested they block the payment, but the request was denied. We want these monthly charges to end as they refuse to provide the services promised.
