02/13/2022- 10/21/2022 ESURANCE PAID ********* I was involved in a car accident. This shop had my car for 8 months. They stated they repaired all that was needed to be completed. They stated the reason it took 8 months was because the parts kept getting back ordered. All of the parts replaced on my car are NON OEM. They are not original ***** parts. I explained the following was not completed: the air conditioner can not hold freon and windshield wiper can not hold fluid since the reservoir is cracked. This was determined when I brought my car for an oil change. I went to another auto body shop to have them look over the car. At that time I was advised that my hood is bowed and had not been completely replaced. It seems to be the original hood. The back bumper surrounding my ***** emblem is loose and feels as if it will snap off. The weather stripping under the hood has not been replaced or fastened, as it is missing bolts/screws. The radiator under the hood seems to be the original part since it is bowed. None of the lines/fastening line up on the hood or trunk. This is only what is noticed from viewing the vehicle from the outside, so imagine what else could be wrong. I advised Sunrise Auto Collision of these issues and they advised me to bring my car back. I do not trust them to keep my car for any further work to be done. It should have been correctly fixed within these 8 months. I would like another shop affiliated with my insurance company to complete the necessary work. I would like a contract to be written up where Sunrise Auto Collision will pay for this to be done at another shop. I called and expressed this over the phone to them and they denied that option. The only way they want to resolve is by me bringing my car back to their shop, however, I do not want them to do any further work on my car. Please advise Sunrise Towing and Collision to agree to a contract in which they will pay for the work to be done correctly by another Auto Body Shop.Customer response
