I am / was a tenant of a house that has since been sold to morabitos gas corporation - I am still waiting for my sec dep to be returned and I have been ignored on every level of whom to speak with regarding this . No one has communicated with me or even provided me with any info as to who is responsible for returning this money to me - James morabito is the young man whom knows nothing of whats going on and has never pursued furthering our inquires about getting our sec back . **** ******** was the prior owner of this property and we know that since he was the owner and no longer is - that his hands are tied but has communicated with this James man as well to tell Him that he or company who are now the owners owe us back our sec deposit thro the new mortgage owners contract . We moved out 2plus weeks ago leaving the place nice and move in condition The home - Duplex has new rent signs in windows - so we know someone has been in there to inspect - keys were left and it’s ready for occupancy again - not ONE person has contacted us about the place since we left it . We have called this James morabito - he does not answer his phone nor is a voice mail box set up ( it’s full ) - the property address is ** ******** ****** ****** ** ***** . When the property sold - we were able to find another place to live as we were told thro rumor it was going to be torn down to expand parking lot for the gas station owned by them . Again - we are just seeking security deposit back - some kind of communication from them - Someone who knows anything about this property and the rights of getting our security back in a timely manor . It’s not right that a tenant has to be in the middle of a purchase agreement between the two parties - we find it very upsetting that as business people themselves - they have not ever reached out as the new owners of property and followed thro with any concerns we have had with return of our security . We are deeply sorry for your dissatisfaction with your experience with our company. We would like to note that there was communication between the tenant and James during this time. We even went as far as allowing you to keep your personal belongings on our property free of charge for a few weeks until 11/1. There was clear instruction from you during a phone call with James that when you left the keys on 10/30 that you would be providing a forwarding address then as well. Unfortunately we were not able to get to the property until the next day, and we are very appreciative the property was left in great condition. The accounting department sent out your security deposit on 11/3, which is in a very timely manner for any rental property. We received notice that the check had cleared our bank on 11/17. Unfortunately once it leaves our hands we cannot control how fast the USPS gets it to you. We appreciate your business, happy holidays!
