So I Was Driving My Car To Go Pick Up My Mother in Law , long story short The car got a flat tire after i dropped her off and instead of driving it on the rim , because their was no air left i decided to park it.. i was heading to work i was already running late so the quickest thought was to park it nearby on a curb, i went to work , when i got off i went to go change the spare tire and the car was Towed , No Key , No Anything So They Disconnected my battery , tweaked my gear box , And had some “Special Equipment “ applied on my car in order to get the wheels to move and placed on flatbed , I got to the business and the lady was very rude from the start , i just wanted to grab my things from the car and look at it . and i did such .. because they towed it and the bill came up to $986 that day and the car was literally 0.8 miles to the business . so the price was very outrageous.. i told them i couldnt afford that right now give me a couple days , 3 days went by , the bill came up to $1286 , i was willing to pay . but i got very frustrated once i seen my car LEAKING fluids . I have all my reports and recently got an oil change . we all know mechanic shops do checkups on leakages and things like that would be reported . i would even have puddles in my driveway NEVER had such prior to this incident.. im asking the lady is their any solution to this problem because whatever equitmemt was used , cause my metal pipe to leak and the oil pan has a gash as well with a very small crack thats causing leaking as well . i really just want to get something done to this unprofessional business because i shouldnt have to come out of pocket for something iknow i didnt cause . we all kno our cars and if there was any leak prior i would know . the price was outrageous to begin with . and im just askin for help please .. they didnt give me no report of it leaking before towing .. no documents or picturesBusiness response

We received the customer's complaint regarding this matter. Unfortunately, the customer from day one was looking for a discount and was extremely rude and vulgar when calling our offices regarding his vehicle that was towed per the request of the local police department. The vehicle was parked on the street with no insurance and was missing a front passenger tire and has passenger side damage. This vehicle was not even supposed to be being driven. The customer also signed a sheet acknowledging that he was not supposed to drive the vehicle once he paid and picked it up from our impound. However, we have him on camera driving this vehicle without plates and/or insurance from our impound lot. We towed this vehicle and charged the customer accordingly based on the time, equipment, and labor that was necessary to tow this vehicle that never should have been on the road to begin with. The customer is making false claims that we damaged his vehicle. The damage on his vehicle is a result of an accident that occurred almost a year ago and the customer has not done anything to fix the vehicle but continues to drive it on the road illegally without license plates or insurance. This customer is negligent and does not follow the laws or rules of the road and is a danger to anyone else operating their vehicle legally.

I was treated very improperly as a consumer or customer looking for service I was force serviced at double the price of who I asked to come here who showed up 1 minute after the trucker rushed to get it done, at the shop I asked for a receipt and was denied and had they put fingers in my face and was told they calling the cops and waited before this I was on the phone and someone told me to get of the phone and I ask for they service rates and it wasn’t posted any where or provided to me upon request and was refused a receipt when I requested one was told that they calling the police which I said I’ll wait and they never did so I called the police who referenced me to speaking to an officer who handles all the tow trucks in the area so I’m just looking for some justice in this situation !most definitely charged wrong after one other customer paid 290 for 45 minute ride that had to be pulled out of dish as well I was literally on the same highway exit by this company ?? But I gotta pay 350 during day times hours ?? And 2 mins away ?? Really ? I called local tow trucks in the area besides the truck that came for me that I couldn’t get because this business rushed to get my car on the truck aftter I told him no to business with him other trucks were ranging from 150 to 200 for the job but this company was trying to charge me 350 plus tax and not give me a receipt! After arguing about a receipt they finally gave me one but I told her I wasn’t signing and it looks like she signed my name and I asked her did she she said she don’t have to show me anything on her copy of the receipt and I as for a photo copy of hers and she gave me a copy only showing the top part of the receipt when the signature she did was on the bottom and I walked away even after realizing it and just came to verdict that this place is crooked and doing shady business and over charging customers that are human in need I don’t know who they target to do that because the other guy got a deal 45 mins!!Business response

To Whom It May Concern: In response to the above complaint this was an extremely unruly customer that, yes, we were going to call the police on because he was being rude, swearing, yelling and being just very unprofessional and disrespectful- which was all captured on camera. You cannot conduct yourself in this manner and think we will not call authorities for assistance. The customer's car was towed per the request of the police. The police have our rates and are preapproved before being added to their list of towing providers as the police have verified our rates, inspected our equipment, verified our insurance, and can attest that our company is a reputable company running a legal and legitimate business . He was not overcharged and all of our rates are in line with other companies rates in the area- many times lower. We have other companies tow invoices here that we pay all the time when picking up cars for insurance companies to prove this. The customer was provided the receipt and it was only written that the customer refused to sign for our internal notes. There is no refund due to the customer as he was charged appropriately. Our rates are posted directly behind the receptionist when you first enter our office and has been posted in the same spot for years. Thank you for your time and cooperation in this matter.
