I drove from ** (hour and a half drive) for an oil change, since I've been very satisfied in the past when I lived in the area, and figured I'd make my way to *** with my son afterwards. Upon the oil change of my 2020 ***** Civic Touring, I requested air in my tires due to a notification on my dash. I was assured it wouldn't be a problem. After the service, I got the complimentary car wash, at which point, I noticed the dash still indicated a lack of tire pressure. I drove back up to the service garage, where a gentleman used a device on my drivers side front tire for a few moments. Then signaled I was good to go.I made my way to the Saw Mill River Parkway, where it was about 30 mins into my drive that my drivers side front tire went completely flat and was torn up. After changing the tire, I called Fast Lane, spoke with the female manager on staff - who also assisted me in my oil change. I explained the situation, and after a brief argument of the details, she agreed that Fast **** would reimburse me for my tire - as the attendant either put too much or too little air, causing the tire failure on the Saw Mill River Parkway with my 9 yr old son in the car. After following up, I spoke with another manager who denied my claim and stated it was not their fault, and that I could have hit something.

I spoke with the customer this morning concerning this matter, and I agree this issue could’ve been handled more in a professional manner by my team. The customer was instructed to produce a receipt for the repair and he will be reimbursed up to 140 dollars.

April 11, 2022 brought vehicle to shop for oil change. Following completion vehicle began smoking profusely and message came up in the vehicle stating Transmission Failed, do not operate vehicle. Fast Lane employee refunded oil change and stated that they did not drain transmission fluid. Contacted tow truck to bring vehicle to dealer for service. Later, owner came out and stated that he could fix the problem. We refused offer due to lack of credibility on what the problem was and demonstrated incompetence. Dealer performed repair, states that ******************* issues are a possibility.

This customer, **************************, *************, ** came to Fast Lane for an Oil change and car wash with their Audi Q5.

We were unable to complete the service requested. The customer made us stop in the middle of the oil change, and we were unable to complete the service.  She became upset with us and demanded the service team to stop working on the car.

We fully refunded her the charge for the oil change, and told her that we could correct this issue with the transmission fluid.

But she said" NO, DO NOT TOUCH THE VEHICLE. I WANT IT TOWED TO THE **** DEALER.

In closing, there was no harm to the vehicle, and we were not allowed to finish our service. I was not going to pay for the tow truck call, nor the service at Audi, when we do these services at ******************** and Car wash, in ********, **

      Thank you,

On March 13, 2022, I took my car in for an oil change. An hour is so later, my car leaves me at an intersection as if stuck In neutral (even though it was in drive). My car gets towed to the very location where the oil change service was done initially. The owner assured me that if I left my vehicle with him over that weekend he can see what is wrong at his convenience (with me missing work and the owner tried to get me to pay for the tow (less than a mile away from his shop). I left my vehicle with him over the weekend and I called the shop that filling Monday where he confirmed my theory but denied responsibility.I then get ****** to tow it to their facility to check on the problem. It has been determined that while doing the oil change, the oil was never changed, instead someone emptied the transmission fluid and replaced it with oil (used in typical oil changes) resulting in over $8000.00 in damage. I have tried contacting the store and I have left messages asking for call backs from the owner Will. I do not know anything else about the owner, we only ever spoke over an employees cell.I tried contacting the stores owner but have not gotten a response.I am a college student that really was waiting as much as possible to get the oil changed to begin with.
