Terrible ! They gave me a rental that had way too many safety issues and a very dirty car and smelled like **** and the car all dinged up ! The car cant climb up hills .. it shakes when steeping on the gas at 15 + mph and the braking is a fine line btw no brakes and dead stop brake its truly and unsafe rental Ive had ! They stuck me with it and didnt give me a test drive saying thats the only SUV ! They said its in working condition! And promise a working clean car ! we supposed to use these cars and drive customers around nyc with I think maybe the tlc should take a look into this immediately! People driving just to make a living with these rentals are taking a real risk ! And I asked for a refund due to the rental and its condition and ask for the different one they told me to look at cars and the cars Ive selected are already taken supposedly! Had me wasted my entire morning cause they didnt wanna refund me ! And then stated since I had the rental for 3 days they gunna charge when I complain that Friday since I got it to switch it ! On Saturday they told me to go to the mechanics on Sunday ! I went on Sunday and they said theres nobody there just leave the car n go ! .. no replacement.! And its a rental y am I taking it to the mechanic when I just rented it ? And the inspection sticker said that rental was just inspected July 2024 I think someone is frauding the system ! Buggy TLC Car Rentals is a s***** company with no communication. How can you be a business with no communication. Buggy never forgets to take their weekly payment or shut your car off but never reminds you that the weekly payment is coming up. If the money is not in the account ONCE when they try to take it they deactivate the car. NO WARNING. Therefore you are left stranded in a car that gets to over 100 degrees in under 5 mins ,calling Buggys Indian call center (people who have no idea what NY even looks like) to get the payment situated and the car reactivated. Reactivating of the car is never simple ************************************************************* calling the company multiple times. Simple text message/ email reminders could avoid such manner. They also take a fee for tolls when they pay it , almost doubling the actual price of tolls and wont tell you that they are doing so. Nothing is a preference with Buggy they strictly do what in the best interest for themselves. Customers arent of high value to **********************, their money schemes are of a much larger value. Everything about the company gives SCAM. Refrain from using this TLC car rental company as they never have good or acceptable solution to solving the problem.Review from Nabil M

I will not recommend anybody to rent from buggy TLC. You can never talk to a person in the ***, all they have is the call center from overseas and they are very nice and professional but have nothing to do with the real people behind the company. At the end everyone is going to get ripped off. Every one in ******** NY office is nasty disrespectful and unprofessional except one girl that helped me once resolve an issue. Their mechanic shop is disgusting dirty, mechanics are unprofessional all they do is make the car all greasy and dirty in and out.Review from Goddess P

Awful! Their vehicle gave me issues, which caused me to lose money. I informed them of the issue, and they refused to have the vehicle fixed. The vehicle nearly had me and two clients killed, due to power loss. They switched me out, yet are not understanding as to why I need an extension on my payment. I never had any issues paging them prior. Im only dealing with them until I get my lawsuit money to buy another car. This company needs to be thoroughly investigated. A lot of this constitutes as FRUAD. A class action lawsuit maybe on the horizon.Review from Lovely S

This buggy tlc company not return your deposit i drive this company almost 2 year one car and after two year my car have some issues and i visit buggy service center 5 time buggy mechanic not find any issue every single time waste my 3 or 4 hours so call the representative to switch the car but he told me i have no any car so i try to go service center one more time maybe they fix it but then i go to shop spanish worker try to fight me why ********* people not switching the car u always come here waste my mind m*********** spanish worker talk s*** front all the people then i come back home and buggy lock my car so i try to call buggy representative and he ask me u try to fight buggy employee i said what u people not switch my car i visit mechanic shop like 6 time and your worker use bad language and he told me am helpless i send the toy truck u block with the buggy and never drive again so i said give me my refund and he told me your car have some scratches so u am not give u any refund your account have 0 $ now he hold my call and after few minutes he disconnect my call and i try next 5 day to get my deposit and buggy never answers my call please don't drive with this bully company go find some better company but not buggy thanks if u read my reviewReview from Candice B

I rented a car with Buggy for 2 weeks. It was an awesome experience.****** was our point of contact and she was amazing. She went above and beyond, continued to follow up during the rental period to see if I needed anything. She was extremely helpful as we had a flat tire during the rental. ***** and **** wasnt able to help me and from the moment of contact with ****** we were able to get a rental in less than an hour. She helped me over the phone to complete everything that was needed as the business was close to closing. She was just absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend!!Review from Free J

Here is yet another BAD review of BUGGY. DRIVERS BEWARE. As of this writing I have been fighting with Buggy to get a different car as their car has stopped driving TWICE. I thought after the first occurrence July 2023 that it wouldn't happen again. It happened again Friday August 19 2023. It is August 28 as of this moment so as you can see, 9 days and no car. ?? I am disappointed in this company for the runaround and lost wages.....it is disgraceful and they claim to be owned but Jewish men who are upstanding. They give their brothers a bad name and I told their staff! Their staff all agreed: "they don't know what they are talking about!" ?? They told me so many conflicting stories I don't know what to think about any them, but I hope you are reading this having second thoughts about this company. Caution: I strongly advise staying away from this company. Numerous customers have reported issues with their deposits not being returned and accusations of unfair money withholding. Personal experiences indicate that they may charge unwarranted cleaning fees even when the vehicle is returned in good condition, as was the case with my recent experience. Buggy rental car is a rip off I wouldnt recommend a dog to rent a car from them . First I was involved in a finder binder that I wasnt sited for it was the other driver fault and I was using Uber when it took place . Which I signed a contract that if I was using Uber I wont have to pay a deductible. I get to the buggy site 1 day and a half after I made my weekly rental amount of 390 for buggy to do a rental car change so when I got there I did everything I was supposed to for them to come tell me 2 days ago they policy changed and I had to pay a ************************************ I couldnt get another vehicle and I also couldnt keep that one I was in I force to leave the car because I didnt have 250 to give them for the deductible . So I waited on my deposit and they refunded me ****** dollars back from my deposit . Which was ****** And remind you I just made my weekly payment so I only had the car for 1 day after and they said I had a fee for returning the car without a 7 day notice . Just a rip off they kept my hard working money just made up a lie to get money . They really need to be sued for participating in such a crime . I was force to bring the car back and then get penalized for bringing it back double jeopardy. I will never in my life go back to buggy nor refer anyone and stop anyone I hear that is going to them.
