We purchased a marble table from Modholic on March 29, 2024. The order number is *****. The total amount charged was $1133.99 USD. Their website also offered free delivery for the item to be delivered inside the entryway of your home or apartment. There was an additional option to pay for white glove service for the item to be delivered inside your home to desired location as well as unpacked and assembled. We did not originally choose the white glove service but it is listed on their site as an additional $125.when it came time to deliver my item, I got a call from the company who works as a delivery provider for Modholic Confirming which day they would deliver my item and suggesting that I pay for the white glove service since it is a 300 pound parcel box and I am pregnant. I often pay for the white glove service at this time which they then charged me $275 for even though on the website it is listed as $125. I did not realize this at the time I paid the delivery company directly for $275. Delivery day came along and the delivery never showed up. When I called to inquire, they told me they would need a smaller truck to deliver the item to my house and are asking me to pay another $300 for delivery for the item because they need to deliver it again! I have been going back-and-forth trying to reach out to this company for weeks to get an update on where my delivery is and why I am being asked to pay more money for a service that they are contractually already obligated to deliver to me based on my prior payment. They are either unresponsive or respond with unhelpful messages like we are working on it. This is absolute fraud and I dont know where to go from here, so I am reporting to BBB in hopes that other consumers are not scammed as I was and I will be taking this up with my credit card company as well.

I ordered a set of chairs, first delivery the box was destroyed and parts were loose so I refused the delivery. Then two things happened. 1. My fianc ordered another set in hopes delivery would be better. 2. They shipped a replacement for the first set so we received two while we weren't home (so we could not refuse delivery this time). After trying to put a set together, we discovered one of the chair bottoms was damaged. At this point we just wanted a refund but the company isn't honoring their refund policy, instead are making us go through hoops, we sent photos of the damage, they ask for the order receipt (when they clearly have it already in the email) they ask for more info, then ask that I donate it in their name, which I have no idea how to do here.If they cannot safely ship their products, this is on them, one is still in the box (although box is damaged) and one is opened (but damaged in transit), they should honor their return policy.

I ordered a table and it arrived damaged. I have been trying to get in contact with the company to return it and never heard from them. They offer an online chat but every time it was my turn in the queue, the chat would go offline. After a few days, I was able to get in contact with a representative via chat but was told that they were on holiday for two weeks. I was finally able to talk with them on 10/9/2023 and the rep I spoke with said they were new and would try to help me as best they could. I told them the issue and was told that I needed to pay the restocking fee which would be $130. Their website states "At Modholic, we offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee at the time of delivery; if you are dissatisfied with an item at the time of delivery, you may refuse it and the delivery team will take it back for an exchange or refund with no restocking fee! After that point, you still have a full 100 days from the date of delivery to return it!". Clearly, this is a lie since I am now being told that they can't help and that I am responsible for the cost of shipping it back. I called the next day and spoke with a different person who also happened to say it was their first day. I hung up because I wanted to speak to someone with more experience. I called again and was speaking with yet another person saying it was their first day. I explained my situation and they knew I had previously called. They said they emailed me with instructions to send the table back but that was not true. I told them I had emailed them 3 times and never heard anything from them. The representative then asked for my email to see if they could find it in their inbox which I then provided. They said nothing in regard to my previous emails but to email them again with images of the damaged items. I would also like to report them for false advertisement as their website CLEARLY states "Free Returns on Items arrived with damages/defects + 100 Day Return Window." But I am being told otherwise.

At this time, I have been contacted directly by World Mod Inc. regarding complaint ID ********, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Someone reached out to me saying that I did not have to pay the return fee but in order to receive my money back I have to donate the table. Once I have donated the table they want me to have the receipt written out to WordlMod and provide them with proof of this receipt so I can receive my money back. I told them that nowhere in their terms and conditions or return policy does it say that I am responsible to donating a damaged on their behalf. It seems to me that they are only asking me to do this so they can claim a tax-deductible donation which I think is incredibly shady scheme.

I also don't understand how I am supposed to donate a table that is damaged. It seems like I am being told to run around and look for a place that will accept trash. Once again, I am to take responsibility for their mistakes as opposed to them simply upholding their policies that they praise.

The last update was telling them that I would not donate the table on their behalf and that either they send me a shipping label or simply give me my money back if they do not want to pay for the shipping label. I have not back from anyone yet and I am still waiting.

On August 23, 2023, I purchased a Tulip 32 Marble top table with four red chairs. On September 20, 2023, the order status was updated to shipped. On September 22, 2023, I received an email from Modholics delivery service company, stating my order is on the way. On September 22, 2023 I received an email that required delivery confirmation. I confirmed delivery for October 4, 2023. At approximately 4:30 p.m. on October 4, 2023, two men arrived with the table and chairs. They were outside unloading the truck. I went outside to see what was taking so long. They told me the set was damaged. After looking at the set I noticed what appeared to be some type of oil on the table and chairs. On September 26, 2023 I was charged the first payment of $118.68 for an item I have not received. I have reached out to Modholic numerous times, they wont answer the phone, they wont respond to their online chat, and I receive an undeliverable email every time I try reaching out by email. The customer service is horrendous.

I had bought a table and two matching chairs from ************ on June 15th 2023 for $419.98 for immediate delivery (the money was deducted from my account on June 16th - screenshot attached). As soon as I paid, I was notified that the table was not in stock and that I can expect delivery in 4 weeks. I waited almost 6 weeks and after a lengthy email conversation with the customer representative Shevy ******************************** see second uploaded screen shot) it became clear that the furniture would not arrive. I finally asked for a refund on August 10th, which was supposedly sent that very day. The money never arrived and when I contacted ***** again, she failed to respond to any of my emails. I am asking now for my money back.

I ordered a cute dinette set that was shipped with no physical address per *** when I checked the delivery eta. I immediately contacted **************** then called back the next day to be advised she was unsuccessful updating my delivery address. This phone call was placed due to an email I received asking if I knew why the item shows delivered and signed for. Im confused and frustrated with being the person constantly calling to have this failed shipping/tracking researched. I was then asked to allow a few more days for *** to track this item. Here we are at 12 days past my delivery date. I have not received this item, which I no longer want. Im still being asked to allow more time for them to have a senseless conversation with ***. I only want a full refund at this point! Im still waiting and Ive decided to contact my bank. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! Their error caused the entire scenario and theyre passing it off to the customer instead of just saving the business relationship!

On Friday March 31st, 2023, I purchased a White ***** Table from World Mod *** dba Modholic at ************************************************************************************************* for $839.00 (Order #*****)Immediately after making the purchase, it came to my attention World Mod *** was selling the exact same table dba Stealmod for $599 at ********************************************************************************************************************************************* On March 31st 2023, immediately after placing the order, I emailed Modholic and attempted to chat online with Modholic, telling explaining that I saw the exact same table being sold at a much lower price, and asked if they could either extend the same $599 price they offer dba Stealmod, or cancel our order do we can order from Stealmod. To date, World Mod *** dba Modholic has failed to respond to my email inquiry, to cancel order or offer fair pricing. However instead of responding they have sneakily raised the price of the item on Stealmod.com.Attached is a photo of of Stealmod selling the table for $599 from 3/31/2023.In Summary, on 3/31/2023, World Mod *** was selling the exact same table at two different price points, we asked them to extend the lower price, they responding by ignoring my email and changing the price for their other brand.World Mod ***'s conduct seems wanton and willful. While it may be OK for them to sell the same product for different prices, they cannot ethically ignore the consumer when they are called out on this, then sneakily change the price. To date World Mod *** has failed to respond.I am requesting a response to my email of 3/31/2023 from World Mod Inc. Admission that on 3/31/2023 when they received my email they were selling the exact same table dba Stealmod, as illustrated in the photo. Being extended the price of $599, which World Mod *** was selling the table for dba Stealmod *** on 3.31.2023, and refunded the amount overcharged.

The date of the transaction was on August 10th, 2022.$405.00 was charged to my credit card. On August 11th, **** I received an automated message saying that due to the delays my "in stock" item will not ship for 2-4 weeks. That would put me at September 8th at the latest for a delivery. On August 29th, 2022 I received another email stating that my chairs would be delivered by the 12th of September. Days past and I never received my furniture so I reached out to them on September 19th looking for an update. It has been radio silence ever since. I have emailed numerous times/called the company and no one is there to reach out to me. I have since then looked at the reviews online and saw such terrible reviews for this company. This company is a scam and I wish I had done a little more research on them before wasting my money.

My wife saw an ad from Modholic on her ******** feed, advertising a 32" bar height Tulip table for $525. When she clicked on the ad, it went to their website, but the table was listed as being sold for $859.99. I spoke with a customer service agent there, Shevy at ************ who confirmed that they would not sell us the table for the advertised price of $525. I have images of both the ******** ad showing the price of $525 and of their website showing the actual price of $859.99, as well as the email from their representative saying that they will not honor the pricing that they advertised on ********.

Firstly, we would like to thank you for bringing this issue regarding the pricing error to our attention. At Modholic, we have over 300 products that are advertised online every day. We have investigated this issue and found that this issue regarding the pricing occurred to an error from our data team that went unnoticed. Please understand that due to this reason we were unable to match the price advertised on the ******** page.

We value our customers' opinions and continue to work towards future improvements. We do apologize for any frustration this may have caused you and we appreciate your support as we continue to develop and improve our brand of products for our customers.
