Your feedback is very important to us and will help us make the company a better place.
*************************** case is quite complicated as he was in the process of selling his timeshare to a third party. Our services were acquired to act as an intermediary during the transaction, our main role was to take care of the legal and financial aspect. We were also in charge of providing the purchase contract.
The payment of $3,436.80 USD was to cover the premium insurance policy which was **************** responsibility. ************ was provided with his insurance policy which stipulates that he has 14 days to request a refund if you've paid your premium in advance. As a Title agent I know receiving an insurance refund will largely depend on why you're canceling the policy, typically if you want to get a refund when you decide to cancel the transaction is not a possibility
If you want to cancel your policy after the cooling-off period usually the client have to pay administration fees. Most insurers will give you a refund including the one we used, this off course if you have not made any claims during the policy period.
By law, you have a minimum 14-day cooling-off period during which you can cancel the policy for any reason, unfortunately ************ exceeded the timeframe and not only that, he also breached the agreement because he refused to fully perform the terms of the agreement.
He is fully aware of what happened during his transaction which unfortunately due to confidentiality policies I cannot share but which if necessary, we are willing to file in court if he does not retract his complaint as he is making illegitimate and ill-founded allegations about our company which makes him subject to a lawsuit for defamation, libel and slander as his allegations may represent economic risks for our company.
Hopefully he will reconsider his position as our team is ready to take legal action against ************.Customer response

According to the agreement that you signed with our company, there was a clause that stated that by signing the contract you understand that you cannot release any information related to the transaction unless you have writing authorization from all the parties involved. If you release any information from our company which caused any defamation or slander like the recent critical communication that you are trying to post on our profile in regards to our company you are violating the terms of the agreement that you signed constituting an action of defamation of character.
If you do not stop doing what you are doing by tomorrow, cease and desist all further communications whether written or oral to avoid any other action from our attorneys they may have to take in a court of proper jurisdiction.
My company, is more than willing to provide evidence that we pay you already and provide whatever is necessary to clarify that this is not related to any fraud, this is extortion and we will not allow that. Our team of lawyers is about to take action so the only person affected here will be you.Customer response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:I keep hearing you have proof that you paid me time and time again but you never show proof that I was paid I have proof that I was never paid in my account why do you keep telling me you are going to send lawyers after me why dont you just pay me what you owe me or show proof that you dont have
