PAID *** $2,500 for plumbing work to be done in November 2022. Due to the temperatures and needing concrete work done after I it was understood that once the snow melted he would be able to start the work. I contacted him multiple times by phone and email about starting the work in March and April and he did not respond unless I called from another phone number which I had my boyfriend call. He then came out to see the project again and never proceeded to turn in the permit for the work despite me giving him stamped plans done by an architect. He has ghosted me and dragged out the project and forced me to continue renting a storage bin so he can do work and soon it will be to cold to pour concrete. I later had him out to put a water back up in my basement despite him having $2,500 of my $$ he said I needed to pay seperately for that job and the $2,500 was for other job because his bank account was frozen and he demanded cash, but I wrote a check to have a record of the work that was done to my house. He is still not returning my messages or callls. He has said he was going to come and has not came, he promised to turn in papers to get permits and they don't get anything.Initial Complaint

We used the Better Business Bureau to find a plumber who could get rid of drain flies and repair any broken pipes, leaks, etc. as well as a possible shower replacement . One of the names we were provided with was Infinity Home Plumbing who we selected to do the job based on the BBB accreditation and his excellent references? Our main concern, was repairing all leaks and getting rid of drain flies. Jim from infinity home plumbing came to see what the problem was and discovered that the shower drain was what was leaking leaving stagnant water which is a perfect environment for drain flies. After discussing the project, he provided us with an estimate and promised that when he was done the drain flies would be 100% gone. Since the beginning of this project, it has been one problem after another as outlined below: 1. The door had to be ordered three times, each time it was ordered it didn't fit continuously delaying the project while we waited for the new doors to be picked up. 2. After the second time and the door was incorrectly ordered. Jim ran out of money and asked us give him an additional $1,000 above and beyond the 50% deposit which we were very uncomfortable with but at that point we needed the project to be completed we had been living without a shower for 4 days at that point. 3. Although we stated that the project was not complete and the drain flies were worse, Jim asked us to give the final payment directly to his employee putting us in a very bad position. Not only because he should be paying his employees directly not us but because the problems with the project were not resolved .We tried to reach him all day and he never called us back . We left four urgent messages and texts letting him know his employee was standing there waiting for his pay and we had to withhold final payment because the problem was never resolved. Jim never responded to his employee either. 4 Jim has never responded to our emails even after he was notified that the problem still existed and was in fact getting worse and even after we told his employee we would be contacting the better business bureau. The employee followed up with us a few days later to see if we had heard anything from Jim and he did not hear anything from him either. 5 The shower is unusable because of the drain flies and it's been now 11 days as of this date. Jim told us that they would be gone! We are asking that the drain flies be eliminated 100% since that was the reason we hired this company in the first place. We would like what he promised us!
