      I was told that they couldn't make the booking for me that I had paid for and I would have to book another flight on another day. I asked for my money back and was told that I couldn't get the tax portion back. I was on the phone two and a half hours with this travel agent and ended up having to pay $266.00 more for my ticket. Fly Fair Travel is a rip off and scams people out of their money.

      I purchased a round trip, non-stop ticket from Fly Fair Travels and immediately received an e-mail saying they were verifying my booking. Within 15 mins of the first e-mail, I received another e-mail saying I needed to call them concerning my booking. When I called them, they said they could not get me on my return flight but could rebook my trip with another airline that had stops. I told them I could not do that. The service *** then tried to get me to agree to completely different flights that were non-stop, but $300 more. I again told him no and at this point to please cancel my reservation. He said he would, but they could only refund part of the $362 dollars for my original flights, leaving me to pay $142 for nothing. From time of booking to time of being charged $142 was a total of 35 mins. Because they could not honor the booking within 20 mins of me booking, I cancelled and was charged $142, again, for NOTHING! ************* of travel company.

      I had purchased American airline ticket from Fly Fair Travel on June 24, 2024, and cancelled one round trip ticket to extent my travel time. I was instructed to cancelled that ticket and purchased another and you will get your refunded from the first ticket in 10 days from purchasing the new tickets. It never happened as of July 10, 2024. I had trusted them and no one is returning my calls and when I tried to reach out to them. I get some one to answer and then a hang up. Very poor customer service and Im so surprised American Airlines would do any business with this company. I had never been treated like this ever when purchasing tickets. My money is out of my account and I wanted my money back and Im going to called American Airlines and let them know what happened and see if they can help me. Part two, I had talked with American Airlines and I can filled a complaint with them and they had looked into my purchase and Americas Airline person look into her computer and had saw that Fly Fair Travel agent had put in the computer to cancelled that ticket has a no show person . Never had explained to me that you could apply online and get a replacement ticket with a penalty fee of *****. Nothing was never said to me about a penalty charge or a replacement ticket. Only thing was said you need to purchased a whole new ticket.

      This company has a history of assisting travelers by canceling reservations and rebooking. They bill the customer for the new flight, telling them the airlines will not give them credit for the cancelled flight.In reality, the airline applies the fare from the cancelled flight to the new flight and pockets the money the customer unwittingly paid for the replacement flight.The other commonly reported scam is this : Flyfair Travels makes the travel reservation requested by the customer, takes their credit card payment, provides the reservation information and tells the customer to provide the reservation information to the airline main desk. When the customer arrives at the airport they are told there is a reservation but the total ticket price hasn't been paid or, in one traveler's case, an unrelated travelers credit card was charged with the insufficient fare. Again, Flyfair Travels pockets the difference between what was paid by the consumer and what FlyFair actually submitted to the airline to make the reservation.When contacted, Flyfair has any number of excuses as to why the consumer's money was properly taken . Then they promise a refund in exchange for the client removing a negative online review and posting a positive review. And then they continue to promise for weeks into months that the refund is in process.No refund is received.
