Hello, Id like to file a complaint about this business. The owner is false advertising. The model is advertised as wearing a medium. ******* both have the same body type, so I purchased a medium. I purchased 2 items from this store in a medium based off the advertisement. The pants fit perfectly. The dress did not. Upon coming to the website, she offers 20% off on orders made within 15mins. (Pictured below). I spent almost $80 after tax & shipping. There is no indication at checkout stating that you have to buy ALL ITEMS at full price just to get an exchange or a return. I sent a message to her on Instagram on Friday 3/1 @12:21am, because I noticed she was posting more of her products. I didnt get a response. She finally responded in the message on instagram on Sunday 3/3 @1:31pm stating to send an email & allow 24-72hrs for a response. I emailed her on 3/1 asking if I could get some help with exchanging the dress for a bigger size. I even explained that I DO NOT want a refund. I actually want to wear the dress. She responded to my email saying I do not qualify for a refund/exchange because I purchased her items at a discount. I responded back stating that I would pay for the shipping BOTH WAYS just to get the proper size. Then asked if I am still being refused service. She has yet to respond to my emails. It is unfair that she gets to keep ALL customers money, and they are in able to use the product. May I have some help resolving this situation? She only allows a 1-2w timeframe or returns after the delivered date.Business response

Hi,
We inform the customer that everyone body type is different just because someone states that they were a medium does not mean them and the model has the same body type. We have never experienced any complaints like this from a customer about false advertisement. We also have our return policy information on the company's website.

I would like to have the product in a large, or have my money refunded. There is no point in allowing her to keep my money if I am unable to use the product.In order for the BBB to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

You can not be refunded because it says on the company website that we do not do exchanges or returns on items purchased with a discount code. It is very unfortunate that the consumer did not read the return policy before shopping. We have customers who reads the return policy information and ask questions and we would of been glad to help with any questions the consumer had about the return policy. However she did not contact us till after she made the purchase and wanted to initiate a return.Initial Complaint

I ordered an item early August 2023 and still haven't received it. It hasn't even been released to the carrier for shipping. I reached out to the business a few times with no actionable solutions from them. Given the complaints, I believe this is a scammy entity. Do not purchase from them.Business response

I never received my item (#*****)from merchant Silhouette Stylez purchased on 9/18/22. I reached out to the merchant for an update on item on October 18, 2022 and received a response stating I would receive a resolution by the end of the business day but received no response from merchant. Shipping tracking hasnt updated on package and I would like a refund on my item purchased that I did not receive.Initial Complaint

A month ago I ordered a couple pair of jeans from them that did not fit me. I contacted immediately asking to do an exchange. They replied back and they told me to go to a link to request an exchange, and I filled out the information and I waited about a week for instructions on how and where to send the jeans back. after I sent the jeans back, I provided the tracking number for them and I was told that the jeans were going to be delivered to them after a week, after that week I contacted them again and told them that the jeans were delivered, and was wondering how long it was gonna take for me to get my exchange. from there on out, I was continuously contacting them almost every day as I would not get a email back. I would also go to their Instagram page and contact them. Sometimes I will get communication from whoever was running their Instagram page and they would say oh we got the package youll have your refund this week and another week passes and theres no refund. it has been over a month since I have not received a refund from this business, and no one is replying to me.Customer response

I shouldve read reviews online before purchasing. But they take a very long time to ship off orders. They take a long time to respond or not at all. They do not do cancellations so if you are dissatisfied with how long you wait you cannot cancel the order or receive a refund. This is a poor business.
