If I could give this company a negative review I would… it’s been 4 going on 5 months since I was supposed to receive my security deposit. I updated and changed the address and made multiple updates so I can get this check… I now have to come in person from CO to NY to pick up the check and it was the wrong amount. They say they don’t have access to any information and will contact me regarding updates and never do hence us and previous roommates having to make multiple phones calls. The Solomon Organization LLC Response

***** moved out of the apartment on June 14th, 2024. ***** or one of her roommates provided us with a forwarding address at the time they dropped off keys to our office. The original refund check was sent to the address provided. On July 8th, *********, *****’s roommate, called our office stating she did not receive the check. In her message, she stated that she had provided the wrong address to our office. The old check was voided and a new check was cut on July 16th and sent to the second address that was provided by *********. On September 12th, ***** called our office and stated she still had not received the deposit and that she would be in NY in a few weeks and would like to pick it up from our office directly. We voided the second check and reissued a new check for her to pick up in the office. Up until ***** called our office, only ********* had reached out regarding the deposit and we had not heard anything from her since July. When ***** arrived to pick up the check on September 26th, she stated it was the wrong amount and that she would not be accepting the check. All roommates including ***** were notified of how much the refund would be, by email, on June 24th. The check amount had not changed during that time.Review from Darlene H

This complex used to be beautiful. Moved in on 12 the and definitely not happy with management at all. Paying extra for a washer full of black mold, dryer door won't latch or stay closed, dishwasher and oven were gross ,food all over floor kitchen cabinets, air filter filthy and now I'm on steroids for exposure to black mold . Have texted called went in office and posted photos but 8 days now and nobody has been here to fix a damn thing. Will call health department and attorney Monday morningReview from Lori E.

This is not a good place to live. They do not fix anything you ask them to. My place was ruined 2 years ago when they did foundation work & my apartment has major cracks & the Office Manager & Town feel this is safe & not bad to live in. They are wrong! The sheet rock behind the door is almost to the floor. I am waiting for this to cave in. Do not go there to live! Maintenance is horrible too fix anything.Review from Katrina C.

I moved into Hudson pointe which is the sister complex 10 minutes away with my then boyfriend at the time a year ago. We experienced poor communication only after moving in. AC was constantly breaking and they made me stay home and miss work for people to not show up and fix my AC. Eventually i kicked my abusive boyfriend out and the management had the audacity to tell me i needed to pay ANOTHER security deposit in order for him to be taken off the lease and for locks to be changed. I simply lived elsewhere for the remaining of my lease. I also fell on the stairs they didn’t salt and tried contacting them saying it was an urgent matter as i got hurt and NO ONE reached back out. I denied my lease renewal with them online and emailed and asked what i should be doing with my keys. Well i finally called after not hearing from anyone and the lady was so rude saying “did you tell us your lease was ending? It needs to be in writing” told her it was hard for me to know this being no one reaches back out. She got rude and said “what’s this called even about, what are you getting at?” Told her i was trying to return my keys as i would never live another day there and she was nasty and hung up. Had to call someone higher up in Solomon management since the woman wouldn’t answer me when i called back. The first month living there, my neighbors almost got killed by another neighbor and they moved out the following morning for their safety and the management didn’t believe them and tried making them pay for their remaining lease…. HORRIBLE APARTMENT. DONT LIVE HERE EVER.The Solomon Organization LLC Response

******* - we are sorry to hear that you did not have a great experience with us. This is certainly not something we like to hear. Our portal does mention that we require a few things when giving notice, especially a written notice to the office, We're sadden to end this on a bad note but do wish you the best in your new home.Customer Response

After mentioning everything above, all the management could say back to me was they need written notice on ending a lease. They sent me through the portal option to renew or deny my lease and after speaking with my lawyer, denying through the portal is considered enough for written notice as that gets documented.Review from jasmine E.

After living in the community for almost 2 years, there are still numerous issue that have not been resolved. They do not fix anything if it breaks. The fitness center, which they advertised as an amenity has not been open since I have lived here. The central air conditioning they advertised, many of the apartments systems broke, only to be replaced by individual units in the windows. The dishwasher, which is also an amenity advertised, has been broken for almost a year. The sliding glass door is also broken. There is a gap that lets bugs in and cool air and heat out. Organization was notified LAST February, and it still has not been fixed. They are slum lords who collect rent and fix nothing. DO NOT MOVE INTO ANY OF THEIR PROPERTIES. I hate giving them even 1 star.Review from Jen B

I moved into ***** **** Apartments, owned by Solomon Organization, last Friday, July 22nd, 2022. Since I moved across country to Ithaca, I had only done virtual tours. Upon moving into the unit, it became apparent by a distinct stench of rot and bodily fluids that the single bedroom's carpet was soaked in urine and even feces. They had attempted to vacuum and placed out a small jar of vinegar, which did little to help the smell. Upon moving all of my items in (I had no where to live, after all, and needed to return the *****), they began to smell of pee as well. I complained repeatedly with very little response. Offices were closed most of the day on the Friday I moved in. I barely recieved calls back. After complaining roughly 10 times, they offered to move me to a larger unit. However, this will not open for 2 weeks so I have to live in the pee unit (uninhabitable) until then. I also physically cannot move all of my furniture and boxes again and am mentally and physically worn down by this experience. Especially considering how high the rent is (I can barely afford it), I am shocked that they would treat another human being this way. All of this would have been solved if they had completed a proper inspection and notified me of the very serious health hazard when it was discovered. They disclosed that they did not inspect the unit in early July, when it was supposed to be vacant, but 2 days before my 22nd move in. I was not told anything about the smell problem and they did not take action to fix it.The Solomon Organization LLC Response

This review is for the property The Addison at English Village in North Wales. Do not move to a property managed by Solomon Organization, their BBB rating of D is generous. I’ve lived here a month & know I won’t renew. I’ve had a maintenance request pending since the walkthrough that hasn’t been addressed. The flood lights on the side of three of the buildings by me are out making it very dark outside when you walk your dog. It makes living here unsafe, aside from not being able to see well past 10 feet, the grounds are poorly kept. You run a real risk of tripping on the uneven grass and won’t be able to see any wild animals nearby. After I signed the lease the employee who had been very nice up to that point stopped replying to emails. I left a voicemail in the general vm box but it was also ignored. The floors in the building are incredibly squeaky, much more than other places I’ve lived at. Even the bathtub squeaks when you move. Unless you live on the 3rd floor you will hear your neighbor every time they move. Finally after posting reviews on a few sites a rep replied back asking me to send an email to their general email. Apparently they didn’t see the part about my emails being ignored and don’t care enough to call or email me themselves. DO NOT move to the Addison in North Wales PA, you will regret it.The Solomon Organization LLC Response
