Combat Builders did our church Sancturary over a year ago. His crew did an excellent job. We had a few things come up where we needed to use the Sancturary while he was working and he adapted to our needs and still got the job done. Great job done.Review from Edward B.

These guys did a wonderful job on our bathroom remodel. We had multiple contractors come take a look and we chose this group. We are glad we did. Quote was reasonable and workmanship was flawless. They started on time and completed the project on time. On top of this, **** ***** delivered the shower surround broken. **** ***** said they couldn't ship another one for over a week. The owner actually drove 100 miles away to another **** ***** to get the replacement because it was the only way to get the project done on time. This was done at no extra charge to us. My wife and I also made a few changes mid-project and they adjusted without complaint and executed the new plan. We had a great experience.Review from Shaun B

I am a retired General Contractor from Newburgh NY. I now live in Florida and I still own a Camp in St Regis Falls. I first hired Combat Builders a little over 2 years ago. I was very relieved to have found a contractor capable of doing work up to my standard. I was so impressed with his work I hired his company a second time. He has now become my go to since I live so far away.Review from Randy M

Combat Builders put a addition on to my garage and did a great job. Ralph LaPage consulted with me and came up with a design for the addition I really liked. He kept in communication with me during the build and his crew showed up when he said they would. Thanks Combat Builders for a job well done!Review from Karilee W

We love Ralph and his crew. They renovated our bathroom to the exact specifications we requested. They put on a new metal roof, even though we asked for it during extremely cold temps- they were troopers taking extra time than expected to replace rotting wood and tearing off 3 (maybe 5?) layers of old asphalt shingles. These days, it's hard to trust just any contractor, so it's nice to know one who has grown to be a friend.Review from Betty R

I hired Combat Builders for projects I needed done on my house. All of the workers were very professional and they did a wonderful job on replacing the roof and fixing the porch. The window replacements have yet to be done due to supply chain issues and winter approaching. I have been assured that as soon as the windows come in they will be stored until the weather improves in the Spring. I anticipate that the window work will be done to my satisfaction based on the previous work completed.Review from Krystal L

Ralph LaPage owner of Combat Builders is a complete nightmare. Repeatedly wanted money for work and materials that he would not pay for. Building Supply companies demand he pays in full. Repeatedly would not show up for weeks. Large Garage Project started on May 18, 2022 not complete. Authorities had to be called because of threats of demolition of existing work and demand for more money not due to him. He represents himself as an honest man but be aware. After he has retrieved money from you, usually the first large installment, he leaves to go work somewhere else. Between the excuses of Legion Commander, Fire and Rescue, Boy Scouts, Feed the Veterans, All reputable but excuses for him to be absent from your job site. Don't forget the emergencies for Father in Law, Grandfather, mother, Aunt, Uncle, etc If you are still foolish enough to hire him then please do yourself a favor and pay for your materials yourself. It will be cheaper and you will have them for when you need to hire another contractor to finish your job. Be very specific about your contract too. Keep good records and keep in mind a group action if anyone is interested in a court case. Here is the Truth, I read these reviews and chalked them up to home owner, ex-wife, or misunderstandings after talking to such a nice guy.... NOT. Do not be naive, these are true and accurate statements. I believe my money went to his brand new Excavator, truck, casino, family reunions, lasik eye surgery, building his own new house etc. just not to my Garage.

I did build a garage for this customer and I have well more than what is in her garage she never paid me to finish and she has repeatedly asked for more work to be done for less money she received a major settlement for back injury but has ran rakes pulling concrete carrying logs climbing ladders ect. This woman has wanted everything done for nothing I have all receipts for her project and all communication from her and yes I was going to remove the garage if you don’t pay for work you shout be able to keep product this woman is as crooked as they comeReview from KM T.

Poor workmanship, did not finish the job, many excuses to why he could not work, left the house worse than when the job started. Over a $100,000 job, not completed. More than $50,000 over paid, most materials not delivered when told multiple times by Ralph LaPage that they were paid for and ordered. No proof provided when request of where the materials were by home owners. Money not returned after multiple request including request from thw homeowners lawyer. Very disrespectful, do not recommend. Would give a 0 rating if could.
