I feel this is a rip off. All I need is a license as my dog already has a tag with His name and other information engraved on it. The licensing fee is $15.00 for three years. That is all you should be paying. Not $27.99,Review from Jay K

My experience with Docupet is that it's a scam....a fraud...a ripoff. I've had nothing but trouble with them and the people I spoke to on the phone sound like they're out of India.Review from Rose B

My experience dealing with them: This is a shady and poorly run business whose system is broken. I don't recommend dealing with them, giving them your credit card number or any personal info. Not trustworthy. Unfortunately they somehow got contracts in a lot of cities to collect licensing fees and the cities don't monitor the quality of the service, consequently that's what you get. You don't need a dog license in spite of what "authorities"(?) say if you're a responsible dog owner and you have a good dog collar with your contact info "engraved" on a metal tag that's "riveted" to the collar. You can find them on the internet. The common I.D. tags you hang on your dog's collar are cheap, flimsy, and can become unreadable over time. GPS collars and Air Tags aren't flawless but cheaper in the long run. But if you're a responsible dog owner and have taken the time to train your dog to stay close to you and obey, you don't need those things.
