Saying the same thing from my ****** review but the principle remains the same. For estate consultants they seemed to be so knowledgeable to tell me I was doing things the wrong way. It started on the phone I had a conversation saying I wanted to sit down and talk with them with my items (which were a lot as mentioned and showed photos) I knew some things were worth stuff and others were just not worth anything, as they showed up they just seemed overwhelmed maybe? After talking about appraisals and lawyers and accountants to get things done the right way they just didn't seem my things were worth their time, "it would be a waste of money", "I've sold thousands and thousands of things this is my experienced field" were some of the things told to me, after telling them money wasn't an option, they just seemed to have lost interest. After telling them they were in competition with other estate consultants they just wanted out the door, "We are the last call to make, when your done with that then give us a call". I have no idea what these people do but they did not want to sit down and do anything with me, I'm obviously not worth their time as they also stated "time is money, there is too much here to go through". For estate consultants they certainly shined a flashlight on a lot of my things, but didn't want to have an intellectual conversation, or competition for that matter. I wasn't even given a ballpark amount for my estate. Would not recommend, too busy for a competitive market I guess.

Mr. ********* Has some nice antique pieces and a lot of "Garage SalWe me" items. The entire house was in disarray with many of the items he wished to sell individually wrapped in boxes. This was NOT a clean house. Mr. ******** seemed to expect us to unwrap all the items. If he expected us to unwrap everything then he should have made that clear on the phone and we would have arranged time for that process. He does not work and he was still living in the home so he could have had the items out so we could see them. He was very argumentative literally from when we exited our car ...... making a negative comment about where we parked (halfway down the driveway and to one side so as not to block anyone in that may have wished to enter or leave the garage with another car). He seemed overly upset that we did not park closer to the house. The meeting went down hill from there. Mr. ******** has ideas of grandeur. He has a $100.00 piece and insists it is a $1000.00 piece with literally nothing to back up his claim. We have been in this business for decades, There was nothing that we saw on our quick visit that we were unfamiliar with. We have handled hundreds of similar pieces. We quickly learned that he was irrational and that we could not do business with this man. We made a speedy exit. We had left his house and literally within 10 minutes he had left Estate Consultants a negative review ! I wish that there was a BBB for a business to check on the potential customer. I would definitely have stayed away from this one ! I suspect there are many other business like ours that Mr. ******** lured into his home. I will venture that they were not as cordial as we were. This is entirely false and the situation is being taken the wrong way. The "irrational" part he was seeing was the fact that these were my grandmother's things (and she passed a half month prior), so I apologize if I'm being a little protective over it (not to mention the death of a loved one). I had spoken to several people before him about the cost of what my estate was worth, certain objects as well, I have no need to explain myself to anyone who would rather take everything I say as negative and twist my words against my own, then proceed to ask over and over about where all this evidence is for what is worth what. I had mentioned to him as well over the phone that an appointment early in the morning would be best as I have a lot of things to go through, I know I have some junk and would love to take the time to go through all of my things, which was met with a positive response (or so I thought) as 8am or 9am would mean we would have a day to go through things, apparently there was a mistake in communication, as I need an estate looked over, I am in the middle of packing up a dead woman's things and now my house looks bad?... personal attacks aside I had wished to communicate with him further but sadly everything I had said was negative, and was received with negativity, I had figured in a market of estate agents there would be more people understanding of what people could be going through, and I thoroughly apologize for projecting myself as argumentative and negative, this does not give me a "jerk" card to hand out freely, but I needed help, and you good sir were not helpful to me in any case. Please stop giving me your luck as well, it is not needed from someone like yourself.
