Hired Kitzen to replace the bulkhead at my house since my neighbor was also doing so. The agreement was to provide 20 percent down, 25 percent on delivery of materials and then 30 percent halfway through and 25 percent on completion. The final 55 percent was financed with 18 months no interest. A little over a week after the deposit I was asked for the second payment. My neighbors house was no where near being complete but I agreed as I was told that he was having all the material delivered together. I gave them the additional 25% the following day and the material was not delivered for more than another month. Shortly after, I received a bill from the finance company. Kitzen had told the bank that the job was complete and withdrew 100% of the funds for the job. The job was completed 2 1/2 months after the money was withdrawn. Although I was told on many occasions that they would fix the situation with the bank, they did nothing. They even lied to have me sign papers when the job was complete claiming they would submit it to the bank to rectify the situation. Again they did not - So at the end of the day, i am stuck paying 2 1/2 months of interest payments on funds that should never have been withdrawn. Buyer Beware

Unfortunately, our customer has the terms of his executed contract confused with and earlier draft that did not involve our financing. The terms mentioned above were for an initial draft. After negotiating to a final discounted price the contract was revised to include the financing option the customer selected as well as revised payment schedule. Further more the finance option he selected was 0% for 18 months, so there is zero interest being paid for the 2 1/2 months claimed. Any money collected prior to project commencement were applied to materials that were delivered to our facility in Freeport and to the permits we obtained for the project from state and local agencies.
