As everyone else has claimed there is a deceptive business practice of bait and switch. I drove from ************* to this location in *********** for an Eclipse listed at $23,120. When arriving they told me the actual price was $31,120. The first excuse they gave me was a website error, then the manager claimed I should learn to read because I had to be a loyalty member for the website price. He should learn to read his own website since the website says you are eligible for an ADDITIONAL $500 if you are a loyalty member - it has no bearing on the listed price. Very condescending and deceptive staff.Review from Matt R

Unfortunately, due to what can only be described as deceptive business practices (ie the "bait and switch"), we did not purchase a vehicle from this dealership. We spent about an hour and a half looking at this vehicle under the belief that it was being sold for $15,952 as reflected in multiple for sale listings that were cross posted on several platforms. It was only after we had wasted 90min at the dealership that we were informed that the actual sale price was $19,452; plus a $1000 surcharge for paying cash. I dealt with the salesman ******* who I told within the first 5min that we were paying cash, but he neglected to tell me about all these additional fees. I then had the pleasure(?) of dealing with the finance manager who told me about the scam. I've also spoken with ******, ****** and ******** from this dealership.Review from Stevens J

Buyer beware. Dishonest and may be scammers. They asked for SSN, paycheck stubs, drivers license information via text and never intended to sell me a vehicle. Dont trust anything they say. Lies on top of lies and would not return my calls. Worst experience with car dealer ever!Review from RAY O

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction and frustration with the appalling service I have received from South Shore Mitsubishi located at ******************************************************************. My experience with this dealership has been nothing short of a nightmare, characterized by misleading loans, a complete lack of communication, and dubious business practices, First and foremost, I utilized *********** auto navigator for financing, trusting it to provide a seamless and transparent process. However, it appears that South Shore Mitsubishi has exploited this system, leading to a series of deceptive maneuvers resulting in a misleading loan agreement. Despite multiple attempts to clarify the terms and conditions of the loan, I have been met with silence and evasion from the dealership's staff I have encountered significant issues with the vehicle since its purchase, indicating that it may have been sold to me in a defective state. Despite raising these concerns with the dealership, I have been met with dismissiveness and deflectionReview from Jt P

Let me start off by saying I work in auto dealerships so I know how stuff goes. This is not how you do business. I was trying to buy a car. The advertised price was ****** online. I spoke to ****** and he said he couldnt do any lower than that. I was perfectly fine with the price and ready for financing. ****** then told me the vehicle needed brakes and tires all around. I told him I was fine with the price and to not do the repairs. He agreed they wouldnt and on the price. Next day they hit me with a grand total of ****** is where they are at for the car that they already performed all the repairs and I needed to pay for them and also with taxes and fees it brings it to that? How did we get almost ****** more with taxes and fees and brakes and tires on the car all around? Assuring me they were still under market value and not taking any credibility for the false advertising. Then with shipping the car to me (which I agreed on) $950 and more taxes and fees we are now sitting at $35,000 even they told me. Now shocked were $11,000 over original advertised price, I still even debated buying it cause I could still afford it. Asked them for a bill of sale to show my bank to approve and the bill of sale they sent was for $36,725 like are you serious right now? This dealership is straight up scamming people and trying to get every dime by luring in people with a falsely advertised price. Do not do business here or waste your time and this is coming from someone who works in the automotive industry!Review from Frank M

So this was my experience with South Shore Mitsubishi .please repost to get the word out.I hope the owner and owners read this and hopefully straighten this out, unless, of course, they know about it also.Absolutely the reason car dealers have a bad name. The typical bait and switch, advertised in several places a 2019 Kia ******* with a convenience package, call several times, spoke to ***************************** who confirmed everything with me on the phone. I drove 2.5 hrs from ** for this vehicle to get there and have ******. The salesman almost laughed at me when I asked about the vehicle and its accessories. First, the vehicle wasn't even there when I clearly had an appointmen, which was verified several times, was even pre approved for financing to prove I was serious about the vehicle. When ****** told me it must be a typo, I asked why has this vehicle been on there lot for over 4 months? He then said it not a popular vehicle. I asked to speak to a manager and he disappeared never to come back. Had to find someone else to get the manager for m. Afterr another10 minutes, another gentleman showed up to try to convince me it's a typo. I showed him 3 other areas I found this vehic with, e all with different prices. Then the financing manager showed up said he wanted to make it right, after wasting another hrs + of my time, his solution was to try and sell me the stripped down *** they had for the same price as the loaded one. Please stay away from *****-calleded ******** is veryry disappointing and dishonest work practice. Buyer beware stay awayReview from Robert R

I found a Jeep Cherokee on ******* Blue Book for $23,500. when I went to South Shore Mitsubishi and spoke with the sales manager *********************** he showed me their website pricing and told me that the price I saw was after $3995 down, which if that's the case why posted it on *** for $23500, they use other websites to lure you to buying from them with FALSE advertising. The conversation got lost because we talked about warrantee and better percentage rates. He NEVER TOLD me that the ***** for the car was $28,995 which I did tell him I wasn't paying $28K (that was the one of my main concerns $28K), it's over $5K of the *** or ******* pricing.. Oiver had me sign on the computer without going over the contract in detail. I never received proof of the 165 service points they do to the car. When I got home and went over the contract, I saw 2 contracts, and only one them goes to the bank, I know there are loopholes in the contract. The contract that has the least itemized items and it does NOT have the actual price ($28,995) of the car instead the break down it shows 'Unpaid balance of cash price of $24,769". I went back to tell him that he over charge me and told him that the price in *** goes between $22K and $25K and he totally disregarded the *** pricing where they had it posted instead showed me some other website which I have never heard of . They use ******* blue book and ******* to sell and appraise cars but don't go by the pricing KKB or ****** gives you, instead they over price the cars once get you there . I went to South Shore Mitsubishi website to value my car (***********************************************************) and the maximum trade in is $24,464, it's about the same price they put in the contract that they sent to the bank. you see how they get you. They took me for $5495 probable more. South Shore Mitsubishi *********************************************************** ***************************************Review from Mario R

I came to this dealership to buy a minivan. After giving the sale's man my info in addition to my wife info they sold the minivan I came to buy. it took them 4 days for then to tell me over the phone that the minivan was sold. No one ever called me to give me any type of info on my deal nor the purchase of a vehicle. The communication between them is very bad. How can you take people personal info and not give them any type of explanation on a business transaction. Management **** as well. *** ask for my number to investigate what happened. its been 3 days seens I called him with no explanation. Just mad that i gave my credit info in conjuction with my wife's credit and one ever gave me a offer.Review from Michael C

Went to the dealership on Saturday 8/5/23 and sat with a salesman named *************************. We agreed on the purchase price of a 2020 ******* Elantra which was listed on their website for $12,752. Myself and my wife specifically asked ****** numerous times if the price of that vehicle was going to be the same when we sat with the finance person. He assured us that other than taxes and title/DMV fees that there were absolutely no other hidden fees. Upon my return Wednesday 8/9/23 I sat with a financial person who now informed me that with all the "fees" involved the purchase price was now $19,769.25. That's $7,017.25 more than what we agreed to. I was obviously unhappy with that, nor could I afford the price difference. The financial guy then exited the office and returned with a second manager named *****************. He produced a second "deal" which was still more than $5000 higher than the original agreement. I then picked up the paperwork given to me, which noted all the fees, and told them this is a not what we agreed upon and that I was going to post this information online. THIS is when ***************** got up, took my cell phone and demanded that I give him back the paperwork or he would not give me my phone back. Yes, this actually happened.I eventually retrieved my phone from his hand while ****** was literally in my face. He demanded that I leave the building. I asked to speak to ****** my original salesperson, and he was "working or looking for something" in the janitors closet (he was hiding and avoiding me), when I asked him to clarify why this happened, he simply stated "every dealership is the same, you will have this happen no matter where you go! LIARS AND CON MEN AT SOUTH SHORE MITSUBISHI. If i could give less than 1 star I would.
