I had 2 surgeries that this company is refusing to pay. The first (hip replacement surgery) they denied because they claim it was a pre-existing condition, which it was not, and they refuse to provide their reasoning for considering it as such. The second, ankle surgery, they refuse to pay because they have processed it incorrectly as knee surgery, and refuse to make the correction despite numerous attempts on my part to have them correct this.I have been trying unsuccessfully to work with this company for 2 years on my claims. They have stonewalled me, led me and medical offices on wild goose chases on "missing documents", and made communication impossible, with hour hold times that result in disconnections. They stopped mailing communications completely, and have made it impossible for myself and the offices to get a hold of them and resolve issues. They claim to have emailed and mailed forms, which I never received, and claimed to not have received information from doctors' offices which were sent. I contacted the state of Texas office that oversees insurance companies to request an independent review and they said they do not have record of this company as an insurance company, but were able to see numerous complaints about it and encouraged me to file a fraud complaint with the government.I have exorbitant bills that I am expected to pay. This has caused me immense distress and I still do not know what to do to resolve this problem and am unable to pay these bills, which were both pre-approved, and covered under my policy.

My husband purchased a policy in March. They ran a medical audit, assigned us coverage and assured us if a surgery was needed it would be fine. Since then, NOTHING has been paid by them and they ignore Prisma (the hospital) when they try to reach out to them. We now owe prisma $56,944.68!! I dont have that kind of money!

International Benefit Administrators is a horrible insurance company . . . the benefits paid are less than the premiums. I have a claim that I desperately need to speak to an agent in regards to and have been trying for WEEKS to get a human being on the phone. The on hold message offers you the option to get a callback - I have left my office number and my cell number MULTIPLE times. I have yet to receive the callback. This insurance company is barely short of being a scam. I am going to cancel my coverage and attempt to find something else.

I went in for an annual mammogram last May and have been relentlessly trying to contact someone at the ********** to dispute a claim. My benefits included coverage of 100% for mammograms and they only paid $156.35. I have been billed for the remaining $705.65. I cannot reach anyone on the phone and have requested call backs through their automated system which results in an automatic callback stating no one can call me. I paid my monthly insurance payment on time, every month and they have failed to provide the coverage that I paid for. This is only ONE of the claims they have not followed processed correctly.

We understand the importance of providing efficient and effective customer support. We have made three separate attempts to contact the member but have not yet received a response. A callback number has been provided in their voicemail. Alternatively, they can contact customer service using the number on the back of their card.hy here...

I can never get through to anyone to help me. I have three outstanding claims that I need to talk to an agent about. I keep getting rerouted to different numbers as well and on hold with no response. I have claims that the Drs offices said they sent them the info and *** says they didn't get it. I have call reference numbers from the offices. It is impossible to get a hold of anyone with this health insurance company m.

My son had sutures removed. One simple office visit lasting less than 7 minutes. Pediatrician (Centenniel Pediatrics) files the claim immediately and fought with them for 11 months. They finally agreed to remove $59 from our bill in June 24. They are still showing we owe $120 to our pedi office, as they communicated code 45 - charges exceed contractual fee and said it was an extended office visit. My pediatrician office is tired of trying to get this processed accurately on our behalf and agrees this is incorrectly coded and billed. There was so extended office visit. It was simple 5 minutes in and out. Something our copay should have been applied to - no reason this should have hit our deductible. Ive called and called. Wait times over 120 minutes every single time. 4 months. Still 2-3 hour holds on the phone. I cannot get a live person on the phone to get this corrected. Date of service was Aug. 31, 2023 under ***************************** DOB: 1/17/2017. I want this amount removed from our outstanding amount owed to our pediatrician and paid for by the insurance in which we were covered.

I have had this short term health insurance for about a year now and really hadn't ever used it. In January of 2024 I unfortunately had appendicitis and was treated and had surgery at my local hospital. I gave providers the insurance card and all required claim submission information. So far, the insurance company has not paid any of the claims- it's been 5 months. Also, they are impossible to get on the phone. I've called and called, waited - the system lets you wait just over an hour and then prompts you to leave a call back number. They do not call back, or IF they do, it's a recording that just says "No agents are available". Okay- so what now? I have no method of communication that's been successful- no ability to get claims filed or paid or even discuss such a thing- which is their SOLE purpose. They have plenty of staff to take my premium every month, but so far haven't paid a single claim. It feels like I've been scammed. I've never had an insurance company this impossible to even talk to. My bills from the service providers are now getting ready to go to collections- ruining my credit. This company is irresponsible at best, and fraudulent and taking advantage of people at worst.
